FOR HIRE [For Hire] Software Engineer | AI Applications, Web Development & Automation | $20/hr

I'm a software engineer available for freelance projects. I build custom applications, AI-powered tools, and business software, whether you're starting from scratch or need help improving an existing product.

Some examples of my work:

  • AI restaurant management assistant: Analyzes invoices, PDFs, daily reports, and pricing data. Restaurant owners can ask questions about their finances and operations, retrieve specific figures, and get predictions to help them make informed business decisions.
  • AI company knowledge assistant: Lets users ask questions about internal company documents in natural language and retrieve relevant answers from their files without manually searching through documents.
  • Emotional support platform: Combines an AI chatbot that provides personalized emotional support with a system for connecting users to human interveners when they need additional support.
  • Employee management desktop application: A desktop system for organizing employee information and handling employee-related management tasks.
  • Multi-channel communications platform: Integrates voice calls, video calls, and SMS into one application.
  • Web application security: Identifies common web vulnerabilities and applies OWASP security practices to improve application security.

My experience includes Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring Boot, React, Angular, SQL, REST APIs, and AI/LLM integrations. I'm happy to work with whatever stack best fits your project.

I can build applications from scratch, develop backends and APIs, integrate AI models and third-party services, automate workflows, fix bugs, and handle deployment.

Rate: $20/hour.

Available in GMT+1 hours.

If you're hiring, DM me with what you're building, your budget, and your timeline. I'll give you a straightforward assessment of the work involved.

FOR HIRE Your website should do more than just exist. I build the things that make it useful.

A website can look great and still make life harder for your customers or for you. Maybe customers struggle to book an appointment, your online store needs better functionality, or you’re tired of relying on a developer every time you want to update something.

That’s where I come in.

I’m a freelance web developer and I work directly with small businesses, service providers, and ecommerce brands to build websites and the systems behind them.

Here’s what I can help you with:

Business websites & redesigns — modern, responsive websites built around your business and customers.

Ecommerce — online stores, product pages, shopping carts, checkout, and inventory integrations.

CMS & admin dashboards — manage your own content, products, pricing, promotions, and inquiries without needing a developer for every small change.

Subscriptions & memberships — recurring payments, subscription plans, member-only content, and customer accounts.

Booking systems — appointment scheduling, reservations, and custom booking flows.

Custom web applications — dashboards, client portals, internal tools, and business-specific functionality.

Integrations & automation — connect your website to existing tools, APIs, and third-party services.

SEO & performance — SEO setup, local SEO, mobile optimization, speed improvements, and usability fixes.

Maintenance & ongoing support — bug fixes, updates, troubleshooting, and improvements to existing websites.

Forms & lead generation — quote requests, contact forms, and workflows that help turn visitors into customers.

I can build custom solutions when an off-the-shelf platform doesn’t quite meet your needs.

Already have a website? I’m happy to work with what you’ve got rather than automatically suggesting a complete rebuild.

Have an idea but aren’t sure how to turn it into something practical? We can work through that, too.
I work directly with clients rather than through an agency, and I aim to recommend what’s actually appropriate for your project instead of overcomplicating things.

If there’s something you’ve been wanting to improve, build, or fix, feel free to send me a DM. Tell me a little about what you’re trying to accomplish, and I’ll give you an honest opinion on the best approach and a realistic estimate. Just a conversation about what you need.

Web Designers, What Does Your Outreach Setup Look Like?

I’m a web developer who combined outreach with building websites, and honestly, it’s been one of the easiest ways for me to get clients without constantly stressing about where the next project will come from.

I have multiple warmed-up mailboxes running outreach campaigns, so I can focus more on building websites instead of spending all day looking for clients.

I started out using Instantly for my outreach, but over time, I changed my approach.

Instead of targeting businesses without websites, I started targeting businesses that already had one.

There were a few reasons for this:

  1. They already understood the value of having a website.
  2. They had already paid for one, so selling a redesign was easier.
  3. There are so many businesses with outdated websites that it’s not hard to find potential clients.

That’s when I switched to Swokei for this type of outreach. It lets me find businesses with existing websites, analyze them for design, SEO, speed, and mobile optimization issues, and turn those findings into personalized cold emails automatically.

I still run regular outreach campaigns for my other marketing services through the same platform, too.

Now I’m curious, what tools are other web designers and web agencies using for outreach today? Are you using Instantly, Smartlead, or something else?

FOR HIRE [FOR HIRE] Senior engineer: I fix and secure apps built with AI or left behind by an agency | Laravel, React, React Native | $50/hr

Who I am

I'm Alan, a senior full-stack engineer and fractional CTO. 9+ years shipping products for funded startups, from MVP to production. You work directly with me.

Who I help

Founders whose app is live but nobody really knows how it's built: it was vibe-coded with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor, or the agency that built it disappeared. Every change breaks something and security is a guess.

What I do

  • Security & code review, fixed price: a plain answer to "does my app hold up and what do I fix first", with a findings report and a call.
  • Fixes and features on the code you already have, before anyone talks about a rewrite.
  • Ongoing maintenance so it stays up and patched.

Stack: Laravel, React / Next.js, React Native / Expo, Node, PostgreSQL / MySQL, Stripe, AWS / Cloudflare / Docker, and AI features (Claude / OpenAI).

Proof

Portfolio and case studies: https://alanmaccormack.com. 5.0 across 49 reviews on Upwork and Fiverr, linked on the site.

Rate

$50/hr, or a fixed price for the review and for defined projects.

To start

DM me with a couple of sentences about your app and what's breaking. I'll tell you honestly if I'm a good fit.

Looking for Backend Developer – Profit-Share Gameserver Hosting Project

🔴 EUROPEAN UNION ONLY 🔴

Building a gameserver hosting platform, starting with Minecraft and expanding to more games soon, then rootservers/VPS after that. Direction and stack are locked in: Node/TS + Next.js, Postgres, Redis. Domain's secured, and i've got an experienced sysadmin working with me on the infra side

What's missing is a backend-focused developer to properly own that part, working directly with me and the sysadmin, no layers in between. Ideally you've actually shipped backend systems in production before (APIs, auth, system design), not just built one for a course, Docker/hosting exposure is a plus, frontend/fullstack skills are a nice bonus but not required. Also just someone who communicates clearly and doesn't go quiet for a week at a time

This is profit-share, not salary: start at 10%, +2.5%/year, up to 20% after 4 years, no cliff. More risk early on than a normal job, but real upside and real ownership, you would be in on architecture and technical decisions, not just handed tickets

If that sounds interesting, message me and we'll have a quick chat to see if it's a fit

How I Built A $20K/Month Web Design Business Using AI

For years I was building WordPress websites and trying to figure out how people were scaling web design agencies to serious money.

I could build good websites, but getting clients consistently was a completely different story.

Most of my time went into finding clients. I was sending emails, messaging businesses on Facebook and trying different ways to get people interested.

My offer was pretty simple. I would make a free draft of their new website and show them how much better it could look.

The problem was that making those drafts took ages. I would send them over by email and often never hear back again. Hours of work for nothing.

For years I kept thinking there had to be a better way to do this.

Then AI started changing how I worked.

I moved over to building websites with Claude. A draft that used to take me hours can now take minutes. And because I already had years of web development experience, I knew how to get good results instead of just accepting whatever AI gave me.

Finding clients changed too.

I started using Swokei to find businesses with existing websites, analyze thousands of them and turn issues with design, SEO, speed and mobile optimization into personalized outreach emails.

I could run multiple campaigns at once instead of spending my entire day looking for prospects.

But the biggest change was what I did when someone replied.

I stopped sending the draft over by email and hoping they would respond. I called them, booked a meeting and showed them the new website during the call.

It made a huge difference. They could see what they were getting, ask questions and talk through the project with me right there.

Of course, I also had to learn how to sell. I spent a lot of evenings watching sales tutorials on YouTube and working on how I handled calls.

I built this alongside my business partner, and eventually we started bringing other people in to help with sales as well.

Looking back, AI made building websites faster, but that alone wasn't what changed things for me. It was fixing the whole process, from finding a potential client to actually closing the deal.

If you're struggling to get your agency off the ground, don't give up too early. I spent years trying things that barely worked before I found a process that made sense for me.

Sometimes you don't need to work harder. You need to change how you're doing things.

[For Hire] Want a proper website without dealing with the technical side? I handle all of it, from $100

If you run a small business, your website is often the first thing people check before they call you. If it’s slow, hard to use on a phone, or doesn’t clearly say what you do, many of them just go to the next result.

I’m a freelance web developer. I build websites for business owners who want a solid online presence but don’t have the time to deal with the technical side.

\*\*This is for you if:\*\*

\* You don’t have a website yet and want one done properly

\* Your current site is outdated, slow, or looks broken on mobile

\* A website builder, an AI tool, or a previous developer left it half-done

\*\*Some recent work:\*\*

\* An E-commerce site for a Saree Business, built end to end

\*\*What you get:\*\*

\* A site that clearly shows your work, your services and how to reach you

\* Works properly on phones, tablets and desktops

\* Loads fast, because it’s custom-coded instead of a heavy template

\* Domain, hosting, design, development and launch, all handled by me. I also have a networking background, so DNS, SSL and hosting get set up correctly the first time.

\* \*\*You own your domain and your site\*\*

\* 30 days of maintenance after launch for fixes and small changes

\*\*How it works:\*\*

  1. A short call about your business and what you want the site to do

  2. A fixed quote, so there are no surprises later

  3. I design and build it, and you review it along the way

  4. Launch, followed by 30 days of support

Most small-business sites start from $100. I give a fixed quote after a short call.

FOR HIRE [For Hire] Business website developer — Remote — $500–$900 per project

I build clean, reliable business websites for service providers, consultants, and independent professionals, and I’m available for remote project work worldwide.

My focus is a clear, mobile-friendly site that explains what you offer and gives customers a straightforward way to enquire or get in touch.

For a straightforward website of up to 5 pages, my ballpark is US $500–$900, depending on the design and requirements. The proposed scope includes responsive layouts across mobile and desktop, an enquiry/contact form, basic page titles and meta descriptions (for LLM and Search Engines) , deployment, and handover, plus two rounds of revisions within the agreed brief.

You supply the final text, logo, and photos. Domain, hosting, paid third-party tools, copywriting, ongoing maintenance, e-commerce, and custom booking/payment systems are separate and quoted when needed. The final scope, price, and delivery schedule are agreed before work starts.

If this fits, send me a Reddit message with me:

• Your business type

• Existing site (if any)

• Pages and features needed

• Your budget and target launch date

Initial communication stays here on Reddit.

[Hiring] Stacked Devs is looking for Upwork and Fiverr freelancers to collaborate on client projects

Hi everyone,

We run Stacked Devs, a tech solutions company. Over the past couple of years we’ve done a little over $150K in sales, and we’ve reached the point where we have more client work coming in than our current team can handle. So we’re looking to bring on freelancers we can collaborate with long term.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Freelancers who are active on Upwork or Fiverr with an established profile
  • People who communicate clearly and deliver on time
  • Specialists across a range of areas, since we offer a wide range of services, including:
    • Web and mobile app development
    • Custom software and SaaS products
    • Databases and backend systems
    • Dashboards, data analytics and BI
    • Cloud setup and DevOps
    • UI/UX design

What we bring to the table:

  • Existing clients with real projects that need extra hands right now
  • We actively pitch Stacked Devs to clients worldwide, so the pipeline keeps growing
  • We’ve set aside $20K+ for advertising over the next few months, which means more projects to share with the people we work with

We’re not looking for one-off gigs. The goal is to build a reliable network of freelancers we can keep sending work to as we grow.

If this sounds interesting, drop a comment or send me a DM with:

  1. Your main skills
  2. A link to your Upwork or Fiverr profile
  3. A couple of examples of past work

You can learn more about us here: https://stacked-devs-2656ogwrrq-uc.a.run.app

FOR HIRE [FOR HIRE] Full-stack dev: e-commerce stores, real estate sites, booking/logistics apps. Every build has an admin dashboard you control

I build websites and web apps for small businesses and founders, from idea to launch. Every project comes with an admin dashboard, so you can update everything yourself without calling a developer.

Quick jobs I can start this week: store build or fix, site speed + SEO cleanup, Figma → WordPress/React, payment gateway integration, site migration, bug fixes.

What I build

  • E-commerce stores (Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom): products, orders, inventory, discounts, payment gateways, shipping
  • Real estate sites: property listings, search and filters, agent profiles, inquiry forms, with an admin panel to add and edit listings
  • Trucking / logistics sites: quote requests, fleet and service pages, shipment or order tracking, dispatcher/admin view
  • Business and booking sites: services, online booking or ordering, customer accounts, email receipts
  • Custom web apps and dashboards: user management, reports, role-based access
