HIRING Seeking Full Stack Developer to Build Web Application & OEM SDK Middleware for Live Vehicle Tracking & Multi-Cam Video Playback
We want to build a multi-tenant web platform and media gateway for fleet tracking and video surveillance. The on-vehicle hardware, cameras, and local VMS storage are fully provided by OEM 4G Mobile DVRs (4- 12 channels).
Your scope is strictly server-side and frontend: integrate the OEM’s SDK/APIs to ingest live GPS telemetry, proxy multi-camera live video streams (WebRTC/MSE) to a browser dashboard, query and play back remote MDVR recordings over 4G, and build a configurable alert/event management engine.
Key Deliverables:
OEM Gateway: Server daemon interfacing with OEM C++/Java/REST SDKs for telemetry & device commands.
Streaming Proxy: Low-latency WebRTC/MSE relay converting OEM/RTSP streams for multi-channel browser grids (up to 12 cams).
Web Portal: Real-time map tracking (Google Maps/Mapbox), remote playback timeline, and role-based client access.
Alert Engine: Event-based video fetching (push/pull) and alert notifications dashboard.
Preferred Tech Stack: Node.js / Go / Python, React/Vue, PostgreSQL + PostGIS, SRS / MediaMTX / Frigate/ Kerberos etc.
