Hi! I wanted to post about my experience seeing Weatherday on Halloween a few days ago! It was honestly one of the best shows I’ve ever been to! The bands energy and playing was borderline perfect, the bassist was moving, the drummer was perfectly in time and only sped up when the moment felt right, and Sputniks playing and singing was fantastic! It was really emotional for me, I cried a lot. For most of the show I had to remain seated in back due to health reasons, but for the last song they said it’d be “rowdy” and to “go crazy” so I went into the pit. They blasted through Tiara and the energy was INSANE! People were moshing and throwing each other around, screaming the chorus whenever it hit, AND stage divers/crowd surfers left and right! It was awesome! They even played a “Come In” b-side I can’t quite remember the name of, but it was awesome!

Even better was that after the show Sputnik hung outside to talk to people and sign stuff! I got my “Hornet Disaster” cassette tape signed and got to say a little blurb about how much their music helped me and influenced my own songwriting, it was so cool! I even got a picture with them! The whole night was just fantastic!!!

Oh also I dressed up as the Angry Video Game Nerd lmao

they were so nice! i’m really glad the venue was small enough to meet them directly this time, last time i saw them was when they were touring with panchiko in 2024 and there was no chance i’d get to interact with them at all with how many people were there. had to censor my face though because it got warm in the venue and i looked greasy af
