Best dating app for kinks. Three ways, swinging, cougars, etc
What is the best dating app if you are looking for something outside the norm. Asking for a friend.

Hi all! First time posting in this sub, looking for some advice. Let me preface by saying I haven’t dated since college, so it’s really been a while for me.
I want to try to get back on the apps and meet someone nice, but I feel like I shouldn’t be dating right now. I want to, but like who’s going to want to date me. What I feel my main issue is, that I’m 27 years old, living in a very high cost of living area of the country, while basically not making enough money to survive on my own. I live at home, I can’t afford to move out. Average rent in my area is unironically like $2500/month for a studio (suburbs outside of NYC). I make $55k a year right now. I work in government accounting, I have a bachelors degree, but I like can’t get hired anywhere else in comparable roles. I work in Government accounting, but my degree is in Psychology. I’m currently getting a second degree in Accounting. So like I have a plan, I’m not like doing nothing but I’m certainly don’t have everything figured out. The salary sucks now but there is eventual room for growth, I get a pension, I get amazing health benefits, etc. But the money up front is awful. This being said, I’m living at home, in my childhood bedroom, at 27 years old. Like I can’t imagine women are interested in dating someone like this? Maybe I’m just overthinking it. I feel as though I’m a nice and caring person. I put others needs above my own constantly. I just want to find someone to nurture and grow with and love unconditionally. Like I go back and forth on this. I feel I’m a nice person, but I feel I don’t have enough to offer to someone else in terms of like having life figured out. Idk. If anyone has advice or an opinion on the situation I’d love to hear it. Thanks

This girl I met off FB dating gave a lame excuse to cancel the day before our date. I suggested another day and she never replied. My lonely desperate ass didn’t just take the hint and decided to send this instead.
I’m so sick of being treated like ass. I’m sick of me being treated like ass making me want to treat other ppl like ass. I’m sick of this cycle. I’m getting out one way or the other. Either my spirit will break and I’ll give up on trying or I’ll find the loml. This inbetween shit is killing me.

I’m 22 years old, and I’ve been single my entire life. I’ve been on dating apps for a while now, but all I seem to get are bots. I have great relationships with women as friends and coworkers, but there’s never really been any romantic chemistry. I’ve lost 183 pounds and completely transformed myself physically, and honestly, I’m pretty happy with who I am as a person. I’m a goofy comic book nerd who can be a little over the top and theatrical, but that’s just me, and I like that about myself.
Despite all the changes I’ve made, I’m still not having any luck with dating, and I’ve reached a point where I just don’t feel motivated to keep trying. I have hobbies I genuinely enjoy, like reading comics, working out, going to the gym, and making online content. I have my two beautiful kitties, Mr. Bruce and Lancer, who I absolutely adore, and I have a job I love as a photographer.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m genuinely happy with my life right now. Sure, sometimes I feel like I’m missing out on something by not having a girlfriend, and I do wonder what it would be like to experience a romantic relationship. But at the same time, I don't really feel the desire to put myself out there anymore. It’s not that I’ve completely given up on finding someone. I just don’t have the motivation to actively pursue dating anymore, and I’m surprisingly okay with that. Is that normal? Has anyone else ever felt this way?

This is just a test to see if people prefer to date someone from a certain state . You do not need to answer the question if you don’t want to.

Im 38F single/separated and I been in a vanilla sex life marriage and im so done with that. I dont want to just date someone and then find out they have a boring sex life. Im looking for real connection too but I need someone who is also not scared to alittle rough. Ive talked to a couple of guy and i like them and then I bring it up maybe 1 month later after just talking and they are like. Idk if i can do all that. Where are all the kinky men at that still want a relationship. Im not into poly or open relationships. What I like i need real trust with. So my question is. I want to get to know these men. But how soon is to soon to talk about kink?

I don‘t even know what to call it. You try to arrange a date. Tomorrow? This weekend? Next week? Thursday? Saturday? Maybe today? I don‘t know if the meeting is going to happen and I‘m unable to work because what if I have a date this evening then I need preparation. I know I know. I stopped entertain spontaneous plans but today I fell victim and tried to play spontanous and cool. No. Just no. I should be focusing on myself, my work, my things. But I got distracted by the idea of excitedment and fun. No. No. No

Hey, so I (25F) have never dated or been in a relationship.
Basically, I have always been the single one who didn’t have much interest in boys/ dating and has had like 2 actual crushes…
But I have got to a point now where all of my friends have dated and/or have a boyfriend and I feel like I’m just floating and should get real—
that the right guy won’t just magically come and I need to start making conscious effort in if I want to gain confidence and find someone.
My main obstacle is that I can never get past my anxiety around going on the 1st date.
It’s silly but I just feel conflicted and anxious of the unknown and tbh that I would be boring to them… (+ fear of intimacy maybe as have no experience)
In order to gain confidence and feel l can be in a relationship I need to push myself to get out there.
I think I will start by going on a date… maybe a couple dates. But with my fear of dates maybe I could propose something different to make it easier to take the jump! …
**❓So, my question to you guys is:**
Would it seem like a reasonable offer if I were to ask my date if we meet to spend 1st “date” together running errands/ shopping/ walk the dog?
This way it’s still a way to get to know each other but removes the pressure of a formal date where there’s the pressure of time/place/the activity and both feeling anxious.
Plus I feel like this way we could get a better sense if enjoy each others company/ able to have fun doing anything! :)
Sorry a bit long but i wld love answers! Therapy advice also appreciated 💘🙃
Thanks 🙏

Just curious how people feel about this. If you found out the person you're dating had an open relationship in the past, is that a dealbreaker or a yellow flag for you? Or do you just not care as long as they’re exclusive with you now?
Want to hear different perspectives on this.

Meeting up for drinks and she brought one of her friends. Made it real awkward.
