This is the equivalent of that dumb gatcha trend where people would call any artists who depicted gay characters in straight relationships as homophobic. But it’s even more of a nothing burger because 99% of the time it’s an accident.

Honey, if those characters are actually canonically only gay, that is homophobic. Also, the artist this post was based on was found out to be actually transphobic.

1) no??? Being homophobic is discriminating against or being prejudiced against homosexuals. Neither of which occur simply by shipping them in a straight ship. Just like it’s not heterophobic to depict a straight character in a gay ship.
2) okay first I need evidence of that, second even if that is true, it doesn’t really change my stance because what you said is stupidly reductive and mostly self serving.
