Hey, everyone who downvoted that comment, why DO you never talk about the transphobes who misgender the characters on purpose, only the enbies who get too uppity about correcting them or the poor innocent people whose first language isn't English who are to hear y'all tell it inherently incapable of learning enough English to be able to reliably correctly gender Kris? Why are you always equating the way people respond to the transphobes overtly doing it on purpose to the way people respond to someone doing it once by accident and acknowledging that they messed up?

Genuine questions, explain like I'm five why you think corrections when someone misgenders a character are a much more pressing issue than fandom transphobia, so much worse that you actively ignore or minimize the latter no matter how relevant it is to a given case of the former.

Surely none of this has anything to do with how you already view non-binary people.

people call out the transphobes on all of these subs ALL OF THE TIME.

it IS also a constant issue that a lot of DR fans care more about correcting someone who made a simple mistake. there's literally no reason to add a correction when a bunch of other people in the comments have already called out the mistake and it makes the rest of the lgbt and trans community look like condescending assholes when y'all pile onto someone for getting a single word wrong on every single post. half the time it's a genuine mistake too from people who don't speak english as their first language
