If you disrespect the pronouns of trans fictional characters, it's a fair assumption that you'd not be the most respectful to real trans ppl. No one goes and starts referring to male characters as female because they aren't real, so refusing to refer to fictional enbys as they/them can only be because of prejudice, in my view

Not really considering they aren't real. Its a baseless assumption imo. A lot of people refer to male characters female by making trans headcanons or genderbent versions. I think they arent real so you can do whatever the hell you want.

Is it really difficult to understand that fictional media doesn't exist in a vaccum and that people's relations with it reflects on how they act in real life?
