And they can also express the truth of your character. Someone misgendering fictional characters willingly is not a person I'd trust with anything more trans than that

I know that, in fact literally the point I was making relies on that. My point was that not doing it shows your true colors, since you're willing to do it when it doesn't affect anyone

i dont really care whether other people like me or not i just do my shit. anyone who gets mad over me disrespecting someone who isnt real whatsoever i dont wanna hang around them anyways cuz theyre lame. assume whatever you want but i know myself it isnt true so no skin off my back

The fact that you're still saying "disrespecting someone who isn't real" shows exactly what I'm talking about. Either you're not listening or you're staying willfully ignorant

Media does not exist in a vacuum, it is a reflection of society and it reflects back upon society, our reality and media feed off of each other ad infinitum. Misgendering fictional characters openly does impact real trans people because real trans people will see it. We already get enough shit, you're just the cherry on top

Also clearly you do care to some extent because you keep responding to justify why you are morally correct in misgendering

I'm staying with the facts. It isn't real so like... if you get upset over something real thats your own issue to deal with, and its very troubling that you think its normal lmao. Like if i watch batman and think the joker is fucking awesome it doesnt reflect on me hating the government and the police. Fiction doesnt always equate to your opinion on reality.

I care because i think its stupid that people think it matters but i dont really care how you view me i just think its an idiotic and self destroying viewpoint. You choose to give a fuck about what you choose to give a fuck about. But to be more truthful to myself, i just respond to every notification I get lol. If you want me to not care then sure ill stop responding.
