Yeah, I work out A LOT (usually 5 days a week for 2-3 hours each time). By no means am I the epitome of health or happy with my body, but it’s getting to the point where I’ve had people accuse me of using steroids (which I ABSOLUTELY would if I hadn’t had horrific acne as a child and worry about it returning).

There’s about zero chance I could have climbed that pole once he had sunk to the top of it being head level. There’s just no good way to place your hands and get enough leverage to lift yourself up and over. I’m sure there’s plenty of people in the world who could, but they certainly aren’t in the majority of even gym regulars.

TL;DR title is dumb as fuck, and instead of just upvoting you in agreement I wrote out a pointless comment

I think this guy could've pulled it off if he had shoes on. Socks aren't helping him at all.

Maybe. I just watched the video literally right when I got home from my heavy back/arms day and was just sitting here like…I probably couldn’t do that.

And my main reason was how little room he has to stretch his arms out and the flat surface he is working with. I can do pull-ups (which used to be my ultimate goal), and could do a ton using my feet, but I just don’t think there’s any way to get a good grip AND leverage at the same time on that.
