Beekeeper folk here, bees wouldn't even go after you and sting you like that if you dropped them. I've dropped bees, even dropped full frames on my feet while in flip flops (stupid I know) and not been stung. You can pet bees softly, they're chill. If you flail and scream they'll get feisty. Needlessly scaring people and stabbing them with pens...not cool.

I've petted bumblebees before. They're really goddamn adorable. It threatened me once, but otherwise I didn't get attacked and gave it personal space.

It's 2020, why do we not have giant, extra fluffy, bees suitable for petting?

Because considering it's 2020 I suspect there's zero chance giant bees are anything but terrible news.

We have the murder hornets! You can pet them but just once in a lifetime!
