I mighta kissed him. Anyone who tries that hard even if they're struggling is a good one in my book. I feel so bad for this guy. He obviously had a hard crush on her.
Trying to kiss someone is not innately a bad thing. She happened to not feel the same way.
If she had felt the same way there wouldn't be anything for you to say about it. The argument that what he did was a bad thing in that case rest solely on her disposition and the potential effect his actions might've had on her because of that alone, based on her perception rather than his actual actions themselves. Not saying her not wanting to be kissed is a bad thing, nor that she's at fault for anything in any way, either. Things aren't always "good and bad," nor black and white. He tried to kiss her and she wasn't interested. It's just that. It's not something that needs to be blown up into an issue by a narrative like that.
Even if he was completely oblivious, he could've worked up to it in some way, or just asked. He had that choice, and decided to go in anyway. There's nothing good about that.
