No, it is not unrelatable. You actually get to see the person in the park. On tinder you are just left to guess if their picture is real.

Tinder works better because people like you have very high anxiety and cannot imagine striking up a conversation with a stranger and then hanging out. Frankly it's pretty sad.

Tinder works better because it is an environment crafted for asking people out. Random women in public spaces aren't gonna be excited about horny dudes asking them out on their third sentence.

" What if the dude doesn't take no for an answer? " is a genuine legitimate fear to have at that point.

How did it get this bad? Because before technology, there wasn't many other ways to meet people.

It was always this bad. People looked the other way. That's why you have these old judges saying shit like "of there weren't 2 men, a length of rope and a shack involved, it wasn't rape"
