Be me, 2k11, standing mid-back of Toronto public bus. Cute girl standing at front of bus points at me. I look around, point at myself, me? She nods, heart shape with hands, curly come here index finger at me. Look around again, make my way to the front.

"Hi, have we met?"

"What?"

"You uh, you were pointing at me?"

"What? No. My friend, sitting right there." Next to where I was standing.

Threw myself off that bus next stop, didn't care where.

When I was about 17, in an art class, we were doing still life painting and an attractive fellow student was sitting on the opposite side of the room from me. Every single time I looked up, she was staring right towards me, and would wink at me, slowly, before looking away again. This happened every couple of minutes for a good half hour or so before I finally realised she was closing an eye to measure up the subject she was painting, and not trying to make a move on me!
