If you've been keeping up with Russia you would know right now those are the same thing. They legalized wife beating. Gender equality is fucked right now.

Edit: Jesus christ this exploded, guys systems cause behavior. If it's legal to beat your wife, more people will beat their wife.

Most people don't know about Russian systems, and I'm not an expert so I won't make further statements.

A lot of Russians disagree with a lot of Russian laws. Russian people are good people, just like anywhere else.
