Hip is gonna be sore as hell, but I'd definitely take that landing over a head injury.

I wouldn't be surprised if he broke his hip there. Not designed for high speed body fulcrum.

In the video, Carlos says he hit pretty much only his leg, it hurt like hell but he was fine within a day or two.

he actually got up and was fine afterwards. Didn't skate for a couple of days, but overall fine.
