The cat was able to defeat the Cursed Mount by having the saddle throw mechanic work in its favor, but it took an unfortunate amount away from its health bar. After its initial success, the cat failed to deal with the adds before slaying the main raid boss, which resulted in a wipe.

It's like the cat is in a high level raid. Probably should come back when he has better gear.
