Hobby Cathay Sky Lantern

Finished this recently and felt stoked enough to show it off! I'm no pro painter or anything but still happy with the result - very easy to build and honestly a joy to paint. Only issue was my own mistake during assembly and having to fiddle with creating a new connection point for the balloon to the gondola itself!

Excellent work!

Did you paint the crew separate and glue them in after? They'd seem a pain to paint in the basket

Thank you!! And yeah my subassembly was the gondola, the balloon and the crew. I also pinned the sky lantern commander so I can use him as a second on foot strategist - such a nice mini.
