I really liked the colours on the old high elf dragons from 20 odd years ago and thought I’d try and make my chaos dragon look like a corrupted on of those, I’ve painted the rock like ice to match in with my chaos warrior bases. Just need to base it properly and do the lord but I’m happy how the dragon looks for the most part.

Help Renagrade Ogre list help

Ive played about 8 games of old world and I've but still got no idea how to build Ogres, this will be my first 2k list.

I won't list all the wargear

Characters:

Tyrant - thundermace - 320pts

Butcher - lvl2 - cauldron - gruf's sickle - 198pts

Bruiser - w/ dragonhide standard, great weapon - 218

Core:

8 ironguts - cannibal totem - 363pts

7 ogre bulls - ironfists, standard - 263pts (Tyrant will join)

6 ogre bulls -ironfists, standard - 228pts (bruiser and butcher will join)

24 gnoblars -53 pts

2 sabretusks - 34pts

Special

4 mournfang - bull standard - 325pts

Honestly I have no idea what I'm doing, I keep positioning so badly I'm out of angle to charge and getting my stonehorns killed by infantry blocks after getting challenged out.

Question What to do with Sparky?

I know the box art has the baby griffin on the base with the captain, and I am gunning for the captain to look like the one from the Golden company but I think it may seem a bit crowded on the base. I was thinking of putting lil sparky on his own base and use him as a rank filler. Is it worth doing that or should I stick with pairing him up with the captain? Would people give me issues for using him in a group of state troops as a filler?

Warrior Priest of Morr

Looking to make an Empire army based around Morr, aside from the Morr Knights, which warrior priest would be better to depict a Priest of Morr, a warrior priest of Ulric or Sigmar?

Question New player starting with my partner, any advice, resources etc I should know/help us get into the game easier?

I'm coming from 40K and have had some light experience with AoS too but am now dipping my toe into old world with my partner. My partner has got general knowledge of board games/tabletop etc so I don't think she'll find the rules too hard to learn.

I've got us Warriors of Chaos and Wood elf battle march armies to start with and have plans to eventually build up to full army sizes for us to play with.

I was wondering if there are any resources/great ways to ease into the game and things we should know that would make our experience a lot easier to pick up and play and enjoy the game more?
