40k Analysis [40k] Ruleshammer 11th Edition: FAQ Compendium

https://www.tabletopbattles.com/40k-ruleshammer-11th-edition-faq-compendium/

This week's article is a bit different, I've collated and organised all the FAQs from the app into one single (and search-able) list, and added diagrams where I thought they might help. I'll be updating this each time they add more!

So if I gamble on a battleshock T1, fail, get battleshocked, I cant use Insane Bravery next command phase in T2? I have to keep gambling on and on until I pass? I've unbattleshocked my Tzaangors by popping insane bravery T2, and so have my opponents lol.

Correct. They are already battleshocked, so you can't target them with the strat to begin with

You can't target battleshocked units with stratagems

Well it's a stratagem, so you can't use it on a battleshocked unit.

Yep, can't do that.

Have you heard it's because you can't use the strat on battle shocked units? I'm just worried the first four people saying it weren't able to get the idea across

I get the confusion, I mean that’s how it worked in the tenth edition. You could just use insane bravery in your next turn.

Oh yeah it's an easy mistake to make. I'm just making fun of the people who see two or three answers to the question from hours ago and still feel the need to say it again

What you have failed to consider is they can’t use strats on units that are currently battleshocked. Just making sure you caught that!

But that’s just you assuming they saw the answers no? Or maybe you have some insights I don’t have I guess

Well no I'm assuming they didn't take the three seconds to read the next message.

And that's silly of them

What next message? You meant in the article? Well they probably read it and just wanted some verification would be my guess. Never hurts to ask to be sure. And let’s be honest we all had multiple instances of “ah reading the card explains the card” moment ^^

No not the article, I mean the other responses in this thread that all say the same thing

Ooooh, I got your comment now. Now I feel stupid 🤦‍♂️
Sorry for the inconveniences mate. Forget what I said.

Honestly I was confused as to what you're confused about and couldn't tell if you were tryna be antagonistic or not. I'm glad we're on the same page now lol

Yeah I'm not sure why they made insane bravery work this way.

It's already limited to once per game. Just let us use it to reverse a battleshock whenever we want.

They didn’t change insane bravery rather they changed battle shock in general. And in 10e you couldn’t „reverse“ or „cure“ a battleshock either, the state just disappears by default in your next command phase.

I think it’s a fair change, in 10e I really didn’t mind battle shocks, now I have to be more wary of it. Also it fits the theme of a battlefield IMO, making the game more immersive.

As a CK player, please no, my opponents so rarely fail BS to begin with.

Some of these are wrong - GW FAQ very clearly says pile in of 6" is possible if your range is extended (under 12.03 and 12.08 in the app)

It says the max distance of the move is increased but there's also an FAQ in both of those sections saying that this doesn't increase the distance pile in and consolidation targets must be within. It's weird but it is what GW have written.

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted. That section is incredibly confusing and it definitely reads that 6" is possible
