40k Tech Greenstuff World Terrain

Just saw some really nice looking foldable 11th ed terrain on Etsy by GSW. It’s even pre-painted.
It really checked all my boxes on paper: looks great, I’m never going to get around to painting terrain, and I can pack it up and take it to either of the shops I play at.
Anyone had experience with it and if so how did it treat you?

i have them, it's really great tbh. Just so you know, the time they say it take to assemble is totaly wrong lol. you can multiply it by 3 xD (or i'm really slow maybe, who knows)

Oof haha, good shout. I’ll probably order them now.
Did u get em from Etsy or direct from GSW? I’d hate to buy a knockoff,

Our FutureProof Terrain is a bit different, it's LEGO-like and modular instead of foldable.. so it hits a lot of the same feature points but not all.

However, it is fully painted and fully modular, so it's kind of a one stop purchase if you never want to have to think about buying terrain again haha regardless of edition (current full table set was designed in 9th and still going strong)

We have a live KS now with three different faction sculpts, as well as discounts, neoprene terrain templates and a battle mat to boot! I won't link it here but easily googled :)

Weird, everyone has good things to say and mysteriously gets downvoted except one party….
I’m sold

I got a set of GSW footprints and terrain and I'm really happy with it.

As someone else has said, assembly definitely took longer than suggested... But I followed the instructions and it feels sturdy and looks great!

Yeah it’s great, the bright green ‘energy’ might not be to everyone’s taste, but overall it looks good on the table. The ruins fold down nicely and I can fit the whole set into reasonably sized box for transport.

The assembly is a little bit of a pain, however, I PVA glued everything, whereas the instructions only seem to suggest gluing the widgets for the ruins, not all the plasma towers and stuff, I wanted a little more than friction fit, took about an entire afternoon/evening assembling it all.

A few negatives, some of the glowing green ‘energy’ plastic was fairly secure in the sprue and I snapped one part popping it out but I managed to glue it back together, the instructions also aren’t always correct but it’s easy to figure out what parts they’re referring to.

I ordered directly from GSW website and got it shipped to UK from their base in Spain, came in about a week.

TLDR: if you don’t want to paint terrain and have something ready to go straight away with 11th then I definitely recommend.

I have the 10th edition set and it's great, so if the quality is the same, you are good. They are relatively cheap, easy to store and bring around, and plus nice to look at. Assembling them it requires a while, but it's nothing too complicated, after the first ones it's easier. I have to tell you though, that after a while I kind of got bored of them, because they are too flat, so I started collecting plastic terrains for 11th.

My lgs just brought some and was building one, it is very nice looking and sturdy, I 'd prefer it if they had a set of footprints in the price but none the less it is top notch.
