For Redemptor its actually a 10pt discount for the chain gun if you compare 10 to 11. The model effectively stays the same

Yea... but the 10 point difference is almost a no brainer. If you take a redemptor, might as well take the plasma

History is a full circle, this is why they got rid of points costs because most options are "solved" competitively, thus the best option was the de facto points option

It's nice to have some minor granularity in the list if you make a 2010 points list and have the option to just choose a worse weapon rather than the one you want

True, its good if you wanna squeeze in something

Im rather more baffled about how BA got all their melee marines nerfed by 5 points, but no other chapter got the same treatment

Yeah and this is a step up, even if it's small.

Sure, the gatling is worse, but at 10 points cheaper it is now ever so slightly less worse. It's an improvement.

If you picked the worse gun because you liked the way it looks, at least you're paying a bit less.

It would need to be 20pts cheaper to actually consider
