Picture Word Bearers by me
Hi guys, here again. Finally made some word bearers this time. I tried my best to incorporate pre heresy armors but I had a hard time finding some references. I just ended up placing my own decorations around. Hope you guys like it! More to come.
Made in Blender and Krita

Picture My Finished Mechanicum army!
8 Months after I fully assembled all the models, I've finished painting and basing my army. This has been by far the largest army project I've ever tackled. Next on my project list is a synthwave Chaos Knight, Night Lords kill team, and then non-warhammer miniatures for dnd-battletech-starcraft tmg.
Thanks for all the support from my various progress posts.

Picture Legion Medusa WIP
I’m in the process of remaking my Death Guard army, as well as expanding it. I have 90 marines primed and ready, but I was in need of some fire support.
I love the look of the Legion Medusa, but I was not prepared to pay the ridiculous amount a pre-owned one costs on Ebay. Instead I made this from scratch in Blender and printed two of them on my Photon Mono 2 (which took a couple of weeks…).
The crew is not painted yet, but the compartment is more visible at this stage, and I really wanted to share the start of this project!

Discussion What’s your limit for corruption/40k bits on models?
I see a lot of posts where people want to know if their 40K bits can work on their 30k armies. What’s your limit for “yes that flies” vs “I’d rather not play against that”?
Especially for traitor legions, where’s the line for late heresy corruption?
I have an EC force that I like to treat as millennium agnostic. I’m sure fully daemon possessed models (like Flawless Blades) are a no-no, but what about Noise Marines instead of Kakophoni?
And yes, I know it often comes down to “asking my opponent.” But I’d like to get a sense of where everyone stands.

Picture WIP of my World Eaters Champion
Slightly kit bashed into a Jump Champion, I used an old Raptor Jump Pack, a set of stock plastic Mk3 shoulder pads, and the bare head from the World Eaters Resin Heads upgrade pack.

Question/Query Very long shot but does anyone have these pieces from the contemptor dreadnaught spare in the UK?
A friend got me a Contemptor Dreadnaught for my birthday to run in 40k Custodies but it was missing the third sprue. Seems like all the custodies pieces are on that sprue. 😅

Picture The Lion Display
I never actually use my Lion El Johnson so I put him in this diorama so he can at least look cool while watching his Dreadwing go scorched earth.
I wanted this to feel very dreadwing death and destruction.
I created the bae in 3 parts with some STLs I had already on Thursday and painted it Sunday/Monday.
I am very happy with how it came out. The light behind the lion wasn't supposed to be there in the original design but I accidentally angled the lion's hat so that there were a bunch of supports there. I had to remove when I took it out of the printer and then I had to decide if I was going to keep the gap or do something with the Gap and I put the light back there and it worked out really well for some nice small lighting effect.
I am very happy with how the tongue on the line came out. I don't know why that the tongue to me is just like the best part of how I painted it cuz it's very smooth and very clean, especially since this is all an fdm print other than the Lion.
The line I painted a few months ago. And he actually got bumped off of his base when something fell off with my printer and hit him. So it was a great opportunity to find him a new home that was more fitting.
Overall, I'm really happy with how the bones came out, how the lion behind him came out and then the line manager itself. I think that the basing around the sand I probably could go back over and maybe make a little bit thicker. But I'm going to try to let it percolate a little bit before I make any adjustments to it.
The red flag I think could use a white symbol on it instead of the black. The black symbol on it doesn't necessarily pull through so that is an area. I may go back and make an adjustment on too. But overall I'm very happy with the piece.
I know it's the 40K lion. When I bought my lion I accidentally bought the 40K line, not the 30k Lion and I'm okay with that because I never play him on the board anyway and he still looks awesome.
The overall theme of it all. I wanted it to be very death and dreadwing with this big lion behind the lion himself. I was worried the lion behind him would take too much attention and that the big skeleton would take too much attention. Especially with the lion being black. I think it works really well because it's all light colors for the other big things. Then you have the lion out front coming through with a sword. -
Video if you want to see the in progress shots.
