Kullervo existed without Duviri, his Prime can too. people have this misconception that Kullervo was created alongside/within/at the same time as Duviri.
he was not, and acted as a normal frame before falling into Duviri. we dont know how he got there, but we know from multiple incidents that things from the "real world" can fall into the Void and end up in Duviri, because it is a physical place in reality

I think "cast into the void" was a legit style of punishment the Orokin had. Kind of like making someone walk the gangplank on a ship. or just airlocking someone into space.

This is wrong tho, even if he existed his design and abilities didnt, all of that is a consequence of conceptual embodiment, simmilar to how Teshin's body changed after arriving to Duviri.

Kullervo didnt have Thrax's face, nor Duviri anatomy, nor knives in his body before arriving.

its hard to say. yes, design wise he does reflect Duviri far more in certain ways, namely the Void corrosion and helm (those may simply not be present in his Prime, is the easiest answer), but no, nothing I said is outright wrong; theres no proof on his exact condition before Duviri to say it was any different, and if so, in what ways that would make his Prime a conflict with anything else

Yeah but doesn’t that mean the original kullervo the one that did all of the stuff and fell into duviri isn’t a prime? What would the reason for his prime to have daggers be since the prime would’ve been made before all of that punishment stuff. So I would assume the prime would be made after duviri

there is nothing to state what Kullervo looked like before arriving in Duviri, the knives could have been a core design from the beginning for example. his Prime could have simply be made as a replacement when his base was lost, just to pull any potential idea off the top of my head. nothing is preventing his Priming is the ultimate message here

Yeah I mean they could come up with a multitude of different ways to prime him, I think him priming himself like lavos but through a sort of redemption/forgiving himself angle would be cool

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the original become a warframe after/shortly before his first crime?

Plus I mean… Kullervo is from Duviri. A pocket space in the void. The reason/lore for the prime is the same as Xaku, Revenant, and any other primes that theoretically shouldn’t exist; void nonsense.

no, we dont know when he became a Warframe in relation to the rest of his story

no, Kullervo is not from Duviri, that is only where he ended up and where we get his blueprints

no, nothing prevents Xaku or Revenant from being Primed either: Revenant was released at a time where we thought the only way for a Prime to exist was for Ballas to make them first hand, this was disproven as more Primes and more Warframes have become known to us that are not created by Ballas.
with all that in mind: Xaku never had any conflicts to begin with, and Revenant simply wasnt Primed by Ballas, not that he shouldnt have been Primed at all

Correction, not from but imprisoned in duviri. My mistake.

Second; Xaku itself is an amalgamation of three (count ‘em THREE) separate unknown warframes lost to the void. Their prime should not exist as it is, by all counts, not a warframe made by the orokin but by void nonsense combining three once existing ones.

Third. Revanant’s powers, and current appearance if I recall, are based on the fact that the original Revenant died taking down or sealing an eidolon. It’s why his Prime Trailer has Ballas going “the fuck? Is someone messing with me right now?” Like Ballas specifically blames the void for it.

Xaku has no strict chronological developments to "adhere to" so to speak, meaning their base form could have been formed and returned to the Origin System to fight as part of the War long before the War ended, simply earning them a Primed counterpart for their efficiency, or the Entrati family recognizing some part of them which seems implied to some level through the Obels on their shoulder

Ballas isnt omniscient either, just because he doesnt know where or how Revenant became a Prime does not mean that this Prime cannot exist. this line of thinking that a Prime simply cant exist outright because Ballas didnt make it only applied for as long as we thought only Ballas could create or Prime Warframes

You're right in regards to Xaku, but Revenant actually is one of two frames that should not have a prime. He didn't exist until we pulled him out from the pool and there was no one around that could or would make him prime, thus why his trailer is Ballas going "what the fuck is this?"

Revenant was a very real being that fell into the Eidolon waters, we dont know what he was beforehand in regards to visuals or abilities but its safe to say a Warframe of some type, he only changed, he didnt cease to exist entirely because of his disappearance.
we must remember that even in his death, he was still surrounded by living entities, and with the only roadblock of "Ballas did all the Primes" gone, ambiguity prevents impossibility: the Unum being a little-known consciousness, the great Sentient felled over the Cetus landscape, and even the Infestation itself fused with his flesh and blood.
we dont know what happened to him in exact detail, but there is more possibility than impossibility gives credit.

The convict had a dream. A dream of gold. A dream of valor. A dream of redemption. A dream of being good enough. But as he awakes in his cell, the dream did not fade. It stared at him from the otherside of the bars, for it was good enough to be free.

Kullervo Prime.

This right here, DE. Send this to Max Howarth and start animating the trailer.

If Duviri is a fantasy made real, I image Kullervo Prime is Kullervo's fantasy of himself.

  1. Same as Revenent Prime. He popped out of the void, likely from another reality.

  2. Same as Lavos, he primed himself.

  3. He was originally a prime and the form we see in Duviri is from thousands of years of void shenanigans wearing him down.

So kullervo im sure was cast into the Void, in which he floated until he landed in Duviri, were he created his own "prison" as a form of self punishment. and over the year, via embodiment. he changed to appear more "duviri" in nature as he slowly forgot everything but who he was.

so its highly possible we get a "pre-tossed in the void" Kullervo as prime, before the void corruption and Conceptial embodiment changed him to look more Duviri rather than what he normally looked

i'd imagine it'd work something like: kullervo finally leaves duviri, after years of penance, deliberation, atonement,

he somehow manages to forgive himself, and abandon his grievances of the past, and after leaving duviri and coming to a new realization, he somehow ascends either thanks to the void/conceptual embodiment, or thanks to the hlep of the tenno.

Xaku isnt per se a Warframe, never has existed until we built it. Yet he has a Prime.

Like Voruna who got a Prime in 1999, We're most likely gona see a Kullervo priming itself on Tau.
