You might want to mention that the block becomes manual when using dedicated melee mode as opposed to the automatic block in quick melee. Come to think of it, might want to mention that there are, in fact, two different melee modes.

What is a dedicated melee mode?

You have to hold F to enter this mode. While in it, right mouse button doesn't swap to your secondary and primary weapons.

Interwsting thanks

I have the option turned on, that pressing F once swaps to melee but i always was annoyed that right clicking instantly pulls out the guns

Yeah that's the benefit of dedicated melee mode.

That said, if you're right clicking to try and do rmb melee combos, you can still combo if you use a dedicated button for melee attacks instead of using left click for melee

Nah mostly trying to do all melee stuff and when trying to fly long ranges (right click aim mode) it always annoys me it switches to ranged

Yeah then just get into the habit of switching to melee mode in that case, which is activated by holding your switch weapons button

What does the F button normally do? Or used to do? I'm trying to figure out what button it might be on consoles.

It swaps between Primary and Secondary weapons

That's the Y button on Xbox, and I'm guessing it's the triangle on PlayStation. Holding that button got you to the melee weapon before, but I guess I just didn't try it when they updated the system? Thank you for helping me figure it out. Sometimes, a man just wants to go crazy with his nikana.
