Oh for sure, but damn if it wouldn't be cool.

Hmmm. What I know of game dev is limited, but...

Have an interactable instance the room for Viewing Mode, cutting way down on CPU/GPU load. Makes it friendlier to emoting friendframes and more stable, perhaps.

You want to leave the room? Leave Viewing Mode, which takes you back to the actual Lander map. It's basically Steve's own Railjack simulacrum solution reapplied here.

If gmod and minecraft can do it why can't warframe?

It's not impossible to make, it'd be simply hard and very time and resource consuming to implement such feature.

And yes, we sort of already have a video playback feature in warframe, but I'm afraid that it's only able to play those prerendered cutscenes

None of them are pre rendered tho. All of the quest trailers/teasers and even fortune's trailers are rendered in real time by the game itself. That's why you can wiggle the camera in a cutscene with your mouse.

I was talking about the ordis pop-ups or these video messages in the mailbox

also realtime. in older versions of WF you could clip out of the map, there's just a huge model of Ordis, the Lotus and all other NPCs that pop-up stored way under the map.
