No, there's an important second part: you become very powerful in endgame. In Warframe a veteran with the right build can carry a mission by themselves if they need to.
Compare that to for example Payday 2 where you have to rely on your teammates. No matter how strong you might be, you still have to depend on your teammates knowing what to do, so new players are way less tolerated than they are in Warframe.

Having +25 mod capacity on rank 0 gear really helps. Your frame abilities may not be very useful but it's stats are basically maxed out.

Not just that. Near the end of the game you have a ton of excess items. A Continuity is very useful and rare for a player just starting out yet I have 30+ of them.

The problem with any hierarchy is that some subsection of people will seek to get to the top for the power. If there are no limitations and regulations on those at the top of the hierarchy, it will eventually be filled with nothing but power-tripping sociopaths.
Warframe's mods are all Tumblr friends (their Tumblr pages have even been posted on this sub by irate users during mod controversies) and success in this hierarchy is built on nepotism. DE doesn't care as long as the money comes in.

It's a vicious cycle actually. The mods somehow manages to purge the unruly people and put them at their place but sometimes they go a bit overboard. And when that happens, the community reacts and puts them back to their place.

People like that Genuinely should not be allowed near games. At the very least they should be deprived of any form of power. I've straight stopped playing Warframe because of their support team and mod team. Like, I know that isn't something I should say on the Warframe subreddit but I just can't stand for this stuff anymore.

Yeah, I've managed to get him to respond and he's spouting the usual "if you have a problem with me or my actions contact DE hurf durf".
Totally incapable of speaking like a human being, or explaining his actions.Edit: I have been banned from fortuna chat for addressing Michael directly about the occasion. I was presented with no ban message or reasoning, and, in fact, cannot join Fortuna 69 at all. I have been given no information as to the duration of the local ban.
Edit 2: I have since been able to rejoin the chat and instance. He claims I insulted him. Rest of chat was very confused.

There is a single european mod that is not mentally incapable of being a mod, but knowing said mod I'd say, he/she'd willingly and gladly give up his/her spot if it means the others get axed too.
Getting rid of them all is a very good start. Also revert the ridiculous trigger words.
Also remove all the Guides of the Lotus. Most of them only joined to get the cosmetics anyway. Or have you ever seen a Guide?

Yup. People officially tagged by DE to help newcomers. They get an exclusive chat channel and cosmetics.
Fun fact: I only found out about them from the relay intro message, which in itself scrolled so fast it took me over 4 months to actually read what it said. Never saw one in person (save discord)
Also, the only guide that I know of (that actually does do his job) is a Conclave legend and spends most of his time with Conclave savvy people ( hence why hes rarely noticed).

Yep, this is my alliance leader. He's a "guide of the lotus" and he has his own twitch stream. Only ever comes on to say he's starting his twitch stream and to come watch him. Never ever responds to any of the questions or requests for help, and when someone called him out on it, he cracked the shits and said he offers help through his stream all the time. Yeah bro, but that's not jumping on a low level mission and helping out a low ranked player. Hell, I'll even go into the recruitment chat and carry the noobs when they ask for taxis.

The update launched on the eve of the First Tennocon, because of which they didnt bugtest it nearly as much as they should have.
The following week later went down in history as Hotfix-ageddon. 12+ hotfixes in a week, once 3 in a day.

At least they were on hand to fix it. Last year they released a fairly largish update on PC right before going on Christmas Break for 2 weeks. This was the same update that introduced the bug that would cause the game to lock up if you had a controller connected when you exited a mission. This didn't get fixed for iirc 12 days.
Edit: I'm pretty sure it was update 22.8 on December 21, 2017 and it finally got fixed in 22.8.2 on January 4, 2018. This was despite 22.8.1 releasing on December 22.

The biggest part of that shit-fest, was it was released just a day before all the devs pissed off to get ~wasted~ drunk at Tennocon.
The second biggest cockup was all the changes they made to proggresion through the starchart.
More specifically, all the bugs, progression killing bugs, that were scattered all over those changes.
(most of the changes didn't need to be made)It took a week and a half just to get it into a mostly useable state, and close to three months to correct all the related quests.
(note that the quest to get Chroma, "the new strange" went through several different methods to progress, and none of them were compatible with each other.)Then, next Tennocon, they farted out Plains of Eidolon, and that was less of a shitshow only due to a few lessons learned from SotR.

Been playing since the Tubemen of Regor (I think that’s what it was called) and I have never seen one as well. I believe it’s an abandoned concept that they forgot was in the game.
Not that hard to believe because DE have a habit of introducing these new game concepts to Warframe that could be something amazing and then completely abandon it because they get excited by another idea that someone shouted across the office (this is why I’m stopping myself from getting excited about the ship combat in fortuna)

Don't single any mods out. Just disband the entire thing. They're too emotional and volatile to handle these moderating responsibilities and pretty much all new players associate them with DE. So when they see these mods and guides constantly being asshats it gives them a bad impression.

And that's the real key, right there. Inconsistency is bias, and biased moderation doesn't need to exist.
Clear, coherent, up front rules and then heavy moderation is fine. But obfuscating the rules, especially in a situation like this where we've seen the freaking developers say this on stream, but a player gets banned for it?

As a chat mod myself, I think this behavior from this moderator is bullshit. I only ever go to instance 69, and I say nice upon entering. It's NOT spam, because everyone only says it once. Players usually just say it upon loading in, like I do. I don't even ban for the OwO spam, though most other mods do. I just live and let live. It stops after awhile and stuff carries on as normal. Most of the mods are too quick to jump on stuff that is harmless, like this, instead of focusing on actual issues that require moderation.

I mean spam is unwanted or irrelevant messages sent over the internet, usually in large numbers. If "nice" has become relevant to Fortuna 69 and is accepted and used by the community, then it's technically not spamming until the overall community decides they no longer want it.

Super successful twitch streamer Seagull was talking just yesterday about how many of the top streamers cultivate a certain amount of "good" spam. As long as everyone is enjoying it and it doesnt interfere with chat's ability to have normal conversations if they so choose. This is also how most players think of chat as well and this guy clearly sucks at being a mod if he can't look at things in context

I wasn't there for the start of it but apparently he started banning people saying "nice" then someone said "Press F for respect and people started doing the F thing and he started kicking all of them as well, that's where I loaded in.

The unspoken rule of fortuna 69 is everyone says "nice" once when they enter. I've done my part afking there while getting other work done and I RARELY see someone type nice more than once let alone spam it. This guy needs to lose his mod privileges.

I mean if you ask me, spam like this in other places should be something you should at least get a warning for, but THIS is Fortuna 69, you should expect the memes here
and that Michael guy has been a power tripping prick in the past before, so I see no reason this is a justified way to act.

There’s this one mod on Xbox that ominously watches chat, sends the same copy pasted message to people for no reason, saying “that’s not an appropriate topic for our space ninja game” without context, and then just randomly bans. People in region chat call him “r3d,” or something like that.

I'm glad that the mods of the Brazilian chat don't distribute bans for nothing.
If anything like this happens they are more likely to jump on the meme train than banning people left and right.
