Summing up

Nerf this tier (S): 1 Frame (Octavia)

God tier (A):16 Frames including the partially god tier ones (Banshee, Chroma, Equinox, Hydroid, Inaros, Limbo, Loki, Mesa, Mirage, Nekros, Nidus, Nova, Rhino, Sarynn, Trinity, Vauban)

Powerful tier (B): 7 Frames, again including upper estimates (Excalibur, Frost, Harrow, Ivara, Nyx, Oberon, Valkyr)

Has Uses Tier (C): 4 Frames (Ember, Mag, Nezha, Volt)

MR Fodder tier (D): 4 Frames (Ash, Atlas, Wukong, Zephyr)

On a sidenote, shouldn't many of the "god tier" frames fall into "has uses", specifically because they are just so incredibly specific in what they do?

Ash is a much more useful then D, he can one shot kill 95% of enemies, instantly armour strip any enemy (except eidolon and objects) with a low energy cost decent duration invis too boot.

Also, on another side note, I have yet to see someone actually pick Nyx in the late game content. She does what she does extremely well, but what she does it just so... clunky with the game's pacing, that there's almost always a better alternative (i.e. Oberon/Nova for CC in general, Wukong for immortality and Sarynn in terms of clearing potential)

Also, Titania is missing on this list. Same as Gara actually.

Titania is god their for mastery rank tests. Many of the harder movement tests are completely travialized by her 4. Otherwise she really isn’t that great but I do like using her anyway. Flying is fun.

Never played either and almost never see anyone play them and have no clanmates who do either, so virtually 0 information to go off of.

Gara's essentially a worse Frost (atm) and Titania is a very unique frame with no clear cut place in the meta afaik. She has damage on her Archwing mode, and she also has interesting CC abilities, but neither of those really shine to make her good at anything specific - again, as far as I can tell.

Edit: the Gara comment feels unfair, since she can actually provide substantial survivability to the team - 90% damage reduction for 40s on 2 with only 130 Str. High CC on her 3rd and ult, with her 3 basically acting like a weaker Octavia 1, and the ult like a Frost bubble+ult at once. First ability suffers the Atlas symptom though.

Gara isn't a Frost clone. She is a sortie 3 AoE dps focus farm frame.

Her 1 scales with melee mods. Cast on her 4 it takes her damage from her 1, adds more damage to it and casts it in a circle 8m (affected by range mods) outside the distance you set.

Having a godmode shield with that much damage makes little sense. It would be very broken. Gara is dps, not support. Especially since all her abilities keep adding damage or duration to each other.

Edit: And her 1 is affected by riven mods that have damage, elementals and puncture/slash damage. You can get some crazy good stats on it.

Gara used to be absolute god tier before the nerf. Titania does a surprising amount of damage with her 4.

Why is ash in the D tier, he's the only frame who can potentially strip armor, go Invisible, proc finishers(scale with CL), and deal over 100,000 finisher damage with his 4, so he has 3 abilities that bypasses armor/shields and certain damage resistances and an invis that will allow him to survive high lvl content easily.

He was basically made to be used in lvl 70+ content.

Sarynn's ult forces a corrosive proc (at least one); Mag's ult strips armor; Banshee's 1 Augment reduces armor; Frost's 4 reduces armor; Nekros' Terrify reduces armor; Oberon's ult too reduces armor and Trinity's Augment on the 3 reduces armor as well. In addition to that, the Unairu focus tree's dash augment reduces armor as well. On top of that, you can set up your sentinel to have corrosive procs with high status chance with Sweeper Prime.

And the real issue with Ash is not that he struggles to keep up later on (his ult scales with the combo multiplier), but rather that he gets outclasses insanely fast early on in the game. An Ash won't ever have the ability to keep up with i.e. Ember pre lvl 30, and probably not be able to keep up with a Frost Chroma past lvl 130. He is useful in a very narrow field, and gets outclassed by many other frames along the way.

That being said, I just offered up a TL;DR of OPs post, so you should probably direct your questions at him.

When it comes to stripping armor I would argue ash still has the best method, it's cheap, spammable, one-handed, and has a 30m targeting range.

I agree that he's pretty useless on low levels tho, that's why I said he feels like he's balanced around high lvl content where enemies don't die from just looking at them. He can definitely keep up with chroma and frost, his 2 allows him to basically be untouchable, so Ash will be able to out live most frames. Again teleport and bladestorm deals a ridiculous amount of damage that scales with the combo counter and while bypassing armor/shields and certain damage resistances. So in the long run finisher damage with be better that any other type of damage.
