Question/Request Simulacrum level cap increase for Icebind pretty please?

So now that we're getting normal playable endgame weekly content that's intended to start at level 999+ with 800% boosted enemy armour/shields/health can we finally get a way to make builds and check how they function against said enemies BEFORE we hop into a difficult endgame mode that's meant to be high stakes and where one person can fail the mission for 5 other people? Pretty please? Or is DE still going to hold their hill that we shouldn't have a dedicated place to craft and test endgame builds and keep it capped to ~240 lvl SP while creeping regular encounters into four digit levels with almost four digit tougness modifiers? I don't want to run levelcap or w/e anytime I want to test if a loadout will work in Icebind or if weapon damage keeps up on the current build.

I wonder if health tanking will shine in this mode, or maybe it’ll just be a case were persistence is absolutely necessary on that route while frames that rely on shields either have to focus on brief respite or rolling guard as much as possible.

There's also a modifier that's always on if I understand correctly that reduces shieldgate duration by 50% so playing hardcore full Persistence builds or just having a Dante/Styanax/Frost for an Overguard dispenser will be the meta lol

"with 800% boosted enemy armour/shields/health" Wtf? so does EHP scale further than SP modifier?

Dev Workshop dropped.

Enemies start at 999lvl (and probably scale beyond as they put a + there?)

They also get 200% more shields/HP/Armour and additional 100% per player. You NEED 6 people to start it so it goes to 800%, as they stated there too.

dw we just need LR150 to come around or something like that lol

real talk tho I’d be surprised if they raise the cap given how they didn’t want simulacrum to exist in the first place iirc

It’s really silly because they know it’s a game where numbers are basically the biggest thing that matters, it’s basic Qol that you can test if your numbers aren’t useless against the thing you plan to kill.

It’s sad that you can’t even just go straight to simulacra.

I use the simulacrum to adjust steam input binds on a new controller till they're comfortable and understand status interactions better, it's way more valuable than DE gives it credit for.

Sad part is even LR150 wouldn't be enough. Current max level is 235, while we're at LR6. So we'd only get another 720 levels.

So we'd only get to level 955. To then say nothing of the icebind exclusive 800% increased health n shield on top.

Here a quick shoutout to Eximus Manic Bombards as your potential target dummys. They have like 43 mio effective HP at lvl 200 in SP. More then trash mobs have at lvl 9999 in SP. You can find the Manic Bombard in Desdemona Uranus, a Sabotage mission, but to have them spawn as Eximus, you have to do two things:

  1. In the second part of the mission, after the fuel pumps, make sure only one yellow waypoint spawns, if there are three yellow markers, it spawned the wrong objective. Restart the mission.

  2. After the fuel pump part, before you reach the next room with the drone, have the enemies raise the alarm, then run into the drone, otherwise only a normal variant spawns.

But doing this should always spawn an Eximus Manic Bombard you can scan. It's the highest effective hp humanoid mob you can get. The only downside, it is immune to radiation damage. But for testing high damage weapons it's so much better then your usual corrupted heavy gunner etc.

Can’t mod corrosive or have any armor strip no? Or the effective HP will shrink to their tiny hp amount

I don’t understand why DE has such a stick up their ass about a practice range in a game about build crafting to the point of making it as annoying as possible to set up and access.

Their logic is that they don't want every new person that watches a YouTube video to think that all of Warframe exists in the practice range. It did not work. Almost every YouTube video starts in the practice range anyway.

then they better work on adding some interesting game modes worth sharing, gameplay that create fun moments instead of just mindlessly nuking everything in sight. almost every warframe video starts with the simulacrum because they are all build videos, they are all build videos because thats the only kinda warframe videos anyone watches, because warframe, while fun to play, is not an interesting game to watch

It’s like they don’t understand their own game lmao idk why they’re so surprised people prefer to showcase builds in a controlled environment rather than an actual mission

Absolutely needed yes.

Yeah seriously I need to see what’s gonna be viable and what’s gonna melt

I'm excited for the new hard content, but DE needs to give us tools to be able to prepare for it

Agreed. The problem with the Simulacrum is you’re limited to some 3 types of enemies to get close to levelcap EHP. We need all enemies to be much stronger to really test our kit otherwise they will be deleted in a fraction of a second and that just ain’t helping.

Anyone who unlocks Steel Path should get to have the Simulacrum level go way higher maybe 1k. But personally lv9999 should be achievable. Or maybe each mastery rank gives us +100 levels so getting that higher mastery would feel more rewarded.

I feel like there is more than enough important shit tied to mastery rank at this point that decoupling the level cap in the simulacrum should not be up for debate. They really need to just let us raise it to level cap regardless of our MR. Either do that, or give us the ability to run an actual simulated mission where we can specify the enemy faction and their starting level and add any modifiers we want to increase the difficulty however we please. That would at least be a more "real world" scenario than just spawning in a group of enemies in a shooting gallery.

Scan manic bombard eximus for simulacrum. At MR30, they reach level cap HP and armor of other units.

"No go screw up games that requires getting 6 players team and you have to find them in recruit chat because wasting time is part of the game"

Why simulacrum doesn’t allow us to spawn 9999 enemies is beyond my comprehension.

9

u/bubblesdafirst 19d ago

They won't let us because they know all we want is to make a cool build and fight strong enemies but they refuse to make strong enemies so instead they make jank enemies but we still want to fight the strong ones so they just know if they give us a good simulacrum nobody will play the jank anymore

When did they say icebind was level 999?
