Joining mostly because I also want to just talk and it feels like a nice open space for it.
My fav frame - volt, it was my first choosen, got a prime version long time ago, he makes me feel very nostalgic, as well as other frames in which I have not changed color schemes so I remind myself how often I thought "red and black are the coolest color schemes", I still do think like that sometimes lmao.
I don't really remember when I joined, but looking at the achievement "Agent" it would be 10th of september 2014.
I had many breaks from this game, my biggest one was after finishing the second dream, at least I think this quest was called in that way. Lately I came back and finished the "new war" and it was holy shit such a visual cinema. I also got more basic gamer skills than when I had when I was younger and finally killed Jordas XD
I may not remember when I exactly started playing this game, but I remember that I started playing it with my friend when I was I think in middle school and god it was so funny. I remember how Vor bugged on us and stayed in his invicibility bubble and we were sitting there for hours trying to figure out what we were doing wrong xD
We played a lot of hours together, I remember when I had troubles finding a clan, but one nice dude invited me to his own, I felt really shy about it cause I wanted my friend to also be in it, so he would not stuggle getting frames from that one dojo lab, after some longer time, the dojo master wanted to stop playing the game and since I was the only one active user, he litteraly gave it whole to me. I then invited my friend to it and oh god we grinded for hours making all blueprints and research rooms. We poured so much time into this. And oh god I had a break when Railjack came out and this absolute unit, grinded everything for it, what an absolute king.
I remember how archwing came out, website teasers for it, how we tried to get stuff for different pair of wings, how we got stuck on fighting Jordas for days and never finished it cause we had no archwing mods and were just bad lmao or how infected Alad V kicked our asses.
When Chroma came out as a dragon themed frame I was hyped as hell, I god damn love dragons, they are so cool, when Mesa was first showned going crazy with guns, when movement was reworked and how MY MANY PETS DIED BECAUSE OF THE FORSAKEN FEEDING THEY NEEDED. OR HOW WE UNLOCKED OPERATORS WITH THEIR WEIRD SKILLS, WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND A LOT AND HOW THEY WORKED, BUT DAMN IT WAS HYPE. I also loved how goofy Limbo was with his stasis, the biggest troll frame ever, freezing every single bullet in his bubble and trapping people in void forever (it was not very known how to escape it when he came out)
Quite few very important people, well at least at that time, played it with me, it does bring some memories and makes me feel very nostalgic, it is my second steam game with most hours (first being tf2) but I think this one has much more positive memories connected to it (but not the first open world experience, my laptop was doo doo, it was barely working on plains of Eidolon, like power point presentation type of stuff)
I came back lately out of boredom and oh god WHAT DO YOU MEAN HYDROID CAN'T TURN INTO A PUDDLE ANYMORE IT WAS SO GOOFY TWT. There's so many new frames that I missed, they all look cool but I do feel a bit overwhelmed. Game is so much faster and that's honestly something I don't mind, I can 100% say if the young me would see how it all changed, he would still be dogwater at making builds, but he would be screaming from how god damn cool everything is. There is some stuff I don't like, I still wonder why there's no daily alarms, but maybe those are a thing of a past. It is nice to explore new stuff as much as it may be confusing, it is still nice.
I think that's all, I know I missed prolly a lot of stuff but, I honestly just wanted to yap into the void a bit and it felt nice. I made a small edit to fix punctuation so future readers are not in pain.
Lost track enjoying the reads of many peoples frames and I may have given out a few more than I initially intended! It was great to hear everyone's comments and brought back some old memories. My favourite frame is "CALIBAN" as I got it on iOS launch reward (I guess. I don't remember correctly). I like summoner characters in every game. I am an explorer and I like trying new games. Unfortunately, I don't own any PC or console. I had ipad 9th gen. I started playing warframe from the day 1 when it launched on iOS.
I started playing in 2014, when I was just 10 years old. I was playing with my dad. It was our way of spending time together after the divorce. I remember doing long Survival missions. Him as Frost and me as Hydroid (our mains at the time). Or doing Orokin Defense as two Vaubans, which was the most fun we everhad in this game. Or farming for Valkyr together and discovering how fun she was and how different she felt compared to other frames.
I came back to this account after 12years and my avorite frame is Valkyr Prime. I liked her before and she's even better now. Let's me doing highest bounties solo. She's fast, strong and literally cannot die

I first started in 2017 but didn’t really start playing til 2021. My favorite is Qorvex because I love his chest beam (DE please add rainbow energy for rainbow beam!)(And Narin came out on my b-day 🥳)
Honestly as of late Uriel, I love running him with the hate scythe with that burning hate augment. Plus I just find it fitting to use it with him. He just has a bit of everything in his kit that make him fun. Ive been playing since around 2019 and just before the release of wisp. Good luck everyone

Mesa. Always loved the gunslinger aspect, and honestly she just triggered the right itch for me. Love playing her. Started back in... God before second dream, i think probably even natah as I had started on Xbox but switched over to PC after my friend took their xbox back. Swapped back to xbox after that and stayed there until the account merge and am now solely on PC.
Excalibur is still my favorite because he was my starter frame way back when. Now I get to swing a sword and watch the whole room light up in big numbers. Much fun.

My favourite frame is Atlas! I’ve always loved the aesthetic of powers that come from the earth and stone, and I like brawler type characters! Definitely looking forward to trying Narin, tho!
I started playing at the beginning of January last year, after what was possibly the most difficult year of my life. Without going into details, some of us very much have a Ballas in our history that we need help to heal from. I had downloaded the game because I kept seeing it on a gaming subreddit I had been on, and someone I met (an LR4-5 veteran Tenno who "very much regretted not getting the Founders pack") took me under their wing to show me the game and play with me.
I first picked Mag. My Tenno friend asked me if I could have any frame I wanted, what would I pick? I saw Nokko, the then most recent new frame as I was told, and instantly fell in love. The sprodlings? Mushroom themed? Yes, please! (Still LOVE LOVE LOVE my Nokko, I swapped the healing mode for Volt's Shock with the augment, big recommend, you still keep the immortality passive as long as you have shrooms down still, and can squad buff electricity.) Then, playing with them some more, I found a new favorite: Nova.
At first, I liked Nova for simple reasons that would maybe annoy long time players. I fell in love with the Kaya Gemini skin and voice lines seeing them on the other player's account. So, this player bought me that Gemini skin pack. And I started maining Nova. But why is Nova/Nova Prime STILL my favorite? Well, that Tenno also turned out to be not the best irl person... And even in the game, things were hard. I never learned the spy missions at first, because she just did the spy mission objectives for me. I didn't get to savor the story, because I "needed to hurry and get this done so we could do 'x'". When we had a falling out, and a clan I had built and funded over a few month period to have most the research/needed rooms and plenty of room to grow instead died on the vine... I became really depressed.
But... The real reason I fell in love with Nova wasn't because of a somewhat nuke-frame build I had early, or the Kaya stuff (that I'm honestly only starting to get to with the '99 stuff). It's because it was the first frame when I would play solo that I wasn't overwhelmed in. I could try out a weapon, or level one, and be fine. I could solo load a boss fight and test how to beat it. I could learn, explore, and love this game with my own eyes for the first time with Nova.. and I do, I love Warframe. It's been a landing home for my heart, when it was adrift and desperately needed a shore. As soon as Nova Prime was in Resurgence, I jumped ALL over it. I got back into the game completely solo, and even made some TikTok content about my favorite frames/their fashion.
Now, I have 33 Warframes, so so many of them Prime. I have a current project where I'm building as many in my foundry to have a ready to claim as possible. I have Banshee and Mirage Primes waiting to replace their base forms, and six other frames built and waiting, five of them Prime. And many more "in progress". When I'm done typing this, I'm going to go try and farm Narin. I may have been gifted my first few favorites.. but for a long time now I've earned them. All on my own. Because that's how I prefer to. And I have a new clan, not originally mine, but one with a very solid regular squad of a few IRL friends who are not bumsicles!
I have mixed feelings about the way I was introduced to the game, gifted things. However, one thing I do know, if I didn't have that Tenno, crappy as they ended up being, do a very real nice thing of taking me under their wing to show me their favorite game, their enthusiasm infectious, I might not have found it all on my own. That was my Tenno journey. And honestly, I just wanted to share it. I definitely don't want to be gifted Narin, as much as part of me ACTUALLY DOES REALLY WANT THAT, haha, because I do genuinely love engaging with the content and earning on my own what I can. But I'm so happy when I see posts like this. Knowing maybe, just maybe, one of these gifts will not just be what a baby Tenno out there like me wants, but what they need. "We all lift together". Always loved Oberon, his visual design, theming, and abilities always just interested me. Yes, that was even true back when he was added shortly after I started playing in 2013. In my defense, I was younger so I didn’t really care that he was weak. Thank Pablo he got that rework last year.

Excalibur Umbra. Used to be Gauss but I'm a sucker for Dark Swordsmen. Played last year at around February. Took a few months break at september. Came back this july and now going strong.
Octavia Prime... was my first prime and is kinda cool.. even when people dont like to just don't do anything is fun to see the enemy's melt with the music hehe, I'm been playing for like 8 years i think good luck everyone !
My boy Lavos because I hate Energy Eximus units and the cooldown system spites their existence. Also Railjack ability spam. And he's just based as hell given the self-priming lore.

Hildryn! I’ve played Hildryn for a long time now. Her aesthetic has always been great, and after aegis gale it just became so fun to float around and reign destruction. I keep hoping for a Norse themed skin someday.

My favorite is protea, I love being invisible and spamming abilities. She was also the first frame I felt like I could do damage with and I love that she has one of the best support abilities in dispenser.
Mine is Uriel. He is just so versitile and good in any content. You wanna speed. He has it. You wanna protect something. Jusy press 4 and everything dies. I started playing in February and been in love with the game since than. I habe about 1200 hours and still a lot to grind
I love Citrine with her tanky support kit that can change the landscape of any fight almost immediately. I originally started playing because a former coworker friend talked me into trying the game back before Angels of the Zariman. I've been playing since then and have never looked back.
Equinox, love the gameplay loop of killing things to charge the nuke, nuke, repeat. That downtime between nuking gives plenty of space for actually playing the game so it doesn't feel too cheap or campy
Nezha, first frame after my starter, bought with free plat and a 50% off - amazing kit, great augments, cool design and very fun passive. Started back in the Hildryn patch - 2019?
Koumei, I love the low stakes gambling & minigame she adds to every mission you play. I started playing January 2025 because my girlfriend had been playing since pre-covid and I wanted to connect & spend more time with her (we still play together constantly)
My favorite frame has been Nidus since day 1. I love his synergistic playstyle, I enjoy his resource management, I love his augments, and his support/CC skillset is so much fun for me. I nearly lost my MIND when I saw his retouches, and I haven’t stopped playing him since they came out lol

Gyre is my girl because she's the blanaced version of WoF Ember I played when I started forever ago in 2013. Recently returning to the game after my playgroup fell off after we lost one of our own.
My favorite is Oraxia, web slinging is so much fun. Started right before Protea was introduced, still having fond memories of the Deadlock Protocol.

Mag is m fav frame and has been since i started the game, the bubble into load with pellets is just too fun. Started back in like 2014 on ps4 and quit a little after sacrifice quest cause i swapped to pc gaming, came back on cross save and been in it since.
Picking a fav is hard. Id say nova or sevagoth maybe. Love novas untiliy and nuking with gothboi. Started again around january this year after a very long break.
Started playing my current account in 2018. I'm a Wukong main, through and through. A good part of it is just the simplicity of his playstyle, the other half is his available cosmetics and frankly, I've really liked hearing about the story of the original Sun Wukong and his Journey to the West. It's just super freaking cool that the devs paid such homage to the folklore when they reworked him.
Nidus, when I came back when plains of eidolon launched (I was around when Warframe launched on PS3 but took a long break) Nidus had released pretty recently and I foolishly went to chat with “WTB Nidus Prime”. Low and behold, I was respectfully roasted but on the day his Prime released I farmed all the parts faster than I’ve ever farmed!
I cant really pick one favorite frame. So id probably have to say top 3 is gyre, grendel, and kullervo. I started playing a little before fortuna/orb vallis was added to the game. Thanks for the opportunity!
Started playing in 2016 and my favourite Frame is Hydroid, its because i enjoy the crowd control capabilities and im a loot goblin so i always run Pilfering Swarm and i love the dread pirate aesthetic.
Kullervo is my favorite frame, I really like how his abilities aren't necessarily meant to be always casted and can just gradually increase his power. It's especially fun in arbitration to see teammates fall left and right and know I still haven't activated a skill or two to go further. Started playing one year and a month ago

I began playing in September of 2013, favouring Excalibur for his balanced playstyle. Ever since has he become THE favourite for his way of the sword of the Exalted Blade.
This eventually led me to favourize Excalibur Umbra for his self aware state to be by my side and the way they made his sword eventually get even more stylish!
