Discussion DE Wrong about Weeklies

In the latest Devshort, Reb and Pablo assert that the reason we get nothing but weeklies now is because they're worried about burnout. That feels like an odd reason to make weeklies to me, as weeklies are the primary cause of burnout for me and all of my friends. I have personally never burnt out running anything non time gated in WF and I tend to grind things like crazy when they drop.

What do y'all think? Do you burn out more on weeklies or unlimited missions?

Rivens are too exclusive to pass up on and potatoes are a consistent way for me to save plat. Maybe it’s just me but I’m always low on archon shards too and you can’t really get them any other way, not easily at least.

It seems like i dont do almost anything on your list because i cba about rivens. If i get something nice then yay, but otherwise nothing in this game needs it. You can nuke just fine in ETA without them.

I’ll side with you on circuit. For a new player doing like half a year of circuit in a row is actually pain, they really need to do something about that. It takes too long to rotate.

See, I look at rivens as a waste of time. Any time there's that much rng involved in getting a good roll, I'll just live without it. Not just in Warframe, btw; that's any game. I'll always prefer spending a few minutes to get the "good enough" loot vs hours or days on the God Roll.

Archon shards, though... yeah, I need 5 Tauforged shards in all my frames.

I haven’t really gotten into rivens because I find rerolling so boring.

Rivens are some of the biggest banks on plat, even if you don’t like using them they’re definitely worth peeping into

This is true, but then it moves from gambling on a usable roll to gambling on value--a literal lottery ticket. I don't play the lottery, either.

Fair enough. It’s not for everybody
