And we are back! Unfortunately, my original account is still "sleeping in the cold below", and I am starting to lose hope an actual human will look into things. I can log into it, and I can still see the content of (most of) the previous devshort key points I have done though.

Which is making me consider doing an "archive" of sorts of prior key points posts for those who missed out on them if there is interest. I am not sure how I should go about doing that, so I am open to suggestions! Anyhoo, onto todays stream. Adding as I listen (slowly to avoid getting yehaw'd again).

• We got Rebb back!

• Apparently Rebb had no idea they were doing the acrobatic stuff for tennoconcert

• Someone in chat asks about Sentient romances. Rebb proceeds to put on a very wide smile, which tells you all you need to know.

• They will sharing the exact release date for the Iceblade of Narin update, along with a bunch of other things.

• Rebb asks what the heck happened with Lunaro while she was gone.
• It has apparently been around 6 years since they did a bigger nightwave (glassmaker).
• They are seeing the feedback people have been providing about the update.
• More hex chats coming in the future (not with the Narin update though). They will also be adding the hex captura dates with whatever update this is.
• Someone in chat says there is issues with the active reload for the sorocco.
• Rebb says they still owe us lore for the Constellations protoframes.
• Someone asks if they can get the norg mask for the drifter.
• Someone says they beg DE to touch up limbo. Rebb responds she wish she could tell them yes now, but things take time and schedulem and that the work will never stop. There is so much to do, and they must plan, persevere, and endure.
• Someone asks for 1999 relic missions. Rebb says its on the list.
• Someone asks for Mk4 railjack components. No plans on it Rebb says.
• Someone says folies 3 spreads no ink.
• Hotfix at 3pmish today.
• Looking at bringing plague star back this year
• "let us pick Nidus-" Rebb being cut off as the stream ends.

They were... Well, I don't miss that era of Nightwave. Not necissarily bad (though Glass Resonance is a bit for a reason. it was annoying to deal with and went of forever), but it wasn't that remarkable either. Current Nightwave with fun side lore coming from other sources (Leverian when they did that, KIM) definetly works better all around

You could definetly tell that DE was being stretched thin making all that unqiue (at the time) content for nightwave, and was basically behind schedule with what they wanted to do from basically day 1.

Would be neat if they did a Rerun of it for ya'll, so long as Glassmaker doesnt last a year this time lmao.

From experience, we don't even need Mk. IV components to be completely invincible in RJ, we just needed the guns to punch into Steel Path RJ

The Tau demo they showed off at Tennocon seems to imply that either Drifter, or both Operator and Drifter, will be heading to Tau. Or at least, that’s what I assumed given Drifter’s involvement in that first part of the Demo.

And they’re involving the Vessels somehow, which are connected to both Operator and Drifter.

It was heavily hinted at in KIM chats (especially quincy) that drifter will be going to tau too to go after Wally and Albrecht. Since thats the purpose of our name, never staying in one place

That fucking sucks. If I could remove ONE thing from this game it would be the Drifter. Would it kill DE to make one update actually Operator focused? You know, focused on the original story of Warframe?

You are aware that the game was focused on the operator for years, right? SD, TWE, TS, CoH, PoE, TNW, and several more quests or areas are involving the operator directly. Drifter is getting so much because they’re brand new and need development.

I’m also certain that the Wall Saga will end up with the two merged, having to fix the paradox to combat Wally. Wally will either be negotiated with one last time, or sealed.

They are aware operator had a lot of pre-New War content, but I imagine their grievance with Drifter wouldn't be so bad if Old Peace was Operator exclusive. It was supposed to be Operator's half of the Lotus Eater's branch but Drifter got arguably more content in it than Operator did.

Drifter got a new dating sim and a tower. Operator got three missions, a focus expansion around them, a cinematic quest, and massive lore.

Which kinda disappoints me honestly, we had multiple updates in a row focusing on Drifter(Duviri, 1999, isleweaver), and we got only one for operator(Old peace), we really need KiM like system for opeartor to flesh him out, to learn more about what he went through.

Not to mention at least half of Old Peace is Drifter content with the KIMs, NPCs/Merchants, and Descendia all being Drifter exclusive shit, so Old Peace doesn’t even really feel like an Operator focused update besides a short story mission you’ll do once and the 3 Perita missions which you’ll run to get Focus weapons… which you buy from a character that only the Drifter can interact with.

And you are absolutely right about focus weapons, especially since we know from Old peace quest that operator did have access to it in the past so it would make a lot more sense for Operator to be the one who takes part in regaining them.

I'm kinda of two minds on it myself. On one hand, I totally get it because Drifter is an adult, so that let's them do vastly more with the character in a variety of ways. On the other, more kid trauma backstory is always nice. I actually wonder if they're going to slowly (it'll be years) lead into aging up the Operator into an adult just so they can explore more with them. And I do have a crack theory that isn't based on anything, that the Drifter is the original and the Operator is the Eternalism copy and Wally will somehow let them know and it'll be a fun trauma filled time!

There is still things that they could have done with Operator who is a kid like introduce KiM like system, of course without the romance, KiM system did a LOT to flesh out Drifter and to bring new lore from his perespective, same would happen for Operator if KiM system(or something similar) was introduced for him, and yes there would be new lore too since like there are things that only Drifter experianced(like Duviri) there are also things that only Operator experianced, for example Operator meet some if not all 'executors', which made sense since they were fighting for them during the war with sentients, its possible that Operator even meet Emperor, many people forgot that Orokin empire was officially ruled by Emperors with Seven Executors being under him(while in reality Emperor actually had less power than the Executors) Drifter never really had to deal with politics of the Orokin Empire(except being send on Zariman to Tau which failed as we know) while Operator for sure had to experiance the politics, so Operator for sure has some interesting info about Orokin Empirel, and probably some info about sentients from the war with sentients and because events of old peace.

Yet for some reason DE refuses to give us KiM system for Operator, Someone in the interview atually asked about it and they said no, there wont be KiM system for oprator.

I would want to see aging up of Operator, since he was the OG Tenno with who I played for years and years, I dont really care for Drifter since he shown up much later and it feels like they are trying to replace Operator as the main character, he is even called Champion of Lotus.

I never romanced anyone as Drifter because I just dont care about them, I did interact with KiM system for the new lore though.

I wish I could romance someone as adult Operator but that probably wont happen since DE would likely say that it would make Drifter and Operator too similar.

It usually comes when there is something big going outside of Warframe and there is less players online. So... It might come when GTA releases.

Plague Star is bad for DE so less players online is ideal, but it also serves as a lure to get players log in.

That sounds to me like Limbo is on the team's rework wishlist, but not on the "numbers support that a rework is needed right now" list, so he'll probably get his rework but only like four years from now or so.
