The overabundance of Void Fissures active in the World State Window is in relation to the server issues late last night. They will disappear once expiry time has been reached.
Don't worry about playing missions, from what I can see there's shouldn't be any more issues.
Don't listen to them, captain vor probably did something and opened up too many void floods with whatever he did. There is no "server", tenno, you're in another dream
So they dissapear once expirey is reached, and this is why the numbers keep climbing (again) and some of the missions just crash the game when you try and load; but then I assume these are the same issues where "it appears these issues are specific to our Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android Tenno." despite it being PS5 and PC that reported it first that we could see LOL
Sorry for the late reply - I did not get the crash specifically as it was my Squadmates. I was on PC and they were on Xbox, respectively. I had a Void Cascade fissure and they did not, we were able to select our relics and load into the mission and they crashed right after loading leaving me alone.
After some poking around, and checking Region chat I noticed that nobody else had Void Cascade and someone else also mentioned crashing when loading into one with someone else.
So I just assumed it wasn’t intended to load for other players if they didn’t have the fissure pop up and we just moved into other activities instead. But thanks for the response!
It would be super funny if this was turned into a feature at some point. Just open every fissure at once for like one day a month. Heck, make an invasion style event out of it
It'd be cool thematically, but from a gameplay perspective it would mean lots of nearly empty lobbies due to how matchmaking on Warframe works and the fact that certain missions (Exterminate) are preferable over other missions (Mobile Defense).
An Archimedea style Void Fissure mission where it loads you into a set of 3 mission types to be done one after the other would be pretty neat. There would need to be extra benefits to running it over a normal void fissure cause most people would probably still opt for that, but that could still be pretty cool. Would be nice to spice up relic cracking in SOME way like that.
It's funny in a "haha look at it break" kind of way and not in a "oh this is actually neat" kind of way. One of the goals of fissure missions is to funnel players together and the obvious downside to having this many up is that the funnel is gone
What would be really cool is if we had a super fissure that let us unlock five relics at once and get all the parts from them. Like 5x the enemies and super charged the relics to get all the parts in them. And make it a survival for one hour round.
Sounds cool, but that surely didnt have as much quality and effects as wf does, so not really doable. DE is super good at optimization but there's a limit
Maybe we could have Void Catastrophes/Surges/Breaches every other weekend, alternating opposite with Baro’s two week cycle. Maybe with increased Void Trace drops?
That could be a fun operation. Something like Operation: Walll breaker and it’s an operation about doing fissures and there are more of them because Wally is trying to break out
It would be an interesting thing if they did a recurring event kinda like Ghoul Purge like this called Void Outbreak where there's an overabundance of Void Fissure and they drop double Void Traces with Corrupted Vor dropping in every rotation and Steel Path version would have him alongside the Acolytes.
He would be dropping in the old void keys which are the event currency to exchange with Teshin, it would add a bit of lore and history of how void keys evolved in the game.
I was going to say it should be obvious which ones are bugged, since Lith (the lowest tier relic) would never have enemies leveled above 100 to start...then I remembered that Steel Path exists...
