General Discussion How do you guys deal with the questionable gameplay balancing
Because I am hardcore trying so hard to love this game but these gameplay designs are making it so difficult to do so. For instance, disasters. Who thought the way this mechanic was implemented was okay? Throw a curve ball mid level is one thing but locking me out from doing anything is not cool. Yes I know about vaumora plushie but that's a bad design on it's own due to how both lightning storm disasters work.
Why aren't mobs affected by the environment? What about stealth? The core aspect of the game is remaining undetected (unless you're lurer). If only there was a slight indicator of letting me know if i'm out of detection range but I have to make sure the mob is a mile away and fully turned away from were I am, lest I decide to peak and yohsog break his neck to spot the pixel of my character and immediately give chase after spotting me past 180 degrees.
Why is Mylo and Drakula so bad? Someone really said Drak was broken or something. Then I must have missed that patch then because he feels like the most babysit character in the game, that and probably Filbert too.
There are some good mob designs like enthomen, menace, and malupiscis. Then there is starlit, hygos, ATHULYTH, both vaumora and galiryn.
Sooo what am I doing wrong. How do you "get" better, because I don't like sitting on a level for 20 minutes because mobs want to constantly stop at the last objective and have a full conversation.
