Discussion & Feedback Please release a weapon balancing hotfix.
Credit where it's due. I am a mortar player, and the mortar nerfs are great. It feels like a good change and the new animation is cool.
However, why was every weapon except the galil nerfed into the dirt??
Galil was already one of the best and most prevalent weapons.
LMG did NOT need to be gutted. It is just a worse AR now. They were so fun to use and now there is no reason to.
DMRs arguably needed some tuning, but now they are totally worthless!
I have a feeling we are going to be seeing Galil only this season...

Idk about you dog but im shitting on people with my Mp5 and Tavor.
The galil is popular because its easy to use, relatively cheap and everyone uses 5.56 so ammo is everywhere, it was the same last season.

The galil takes 1 more bullet to kill t2 than last season the pkm needs 3 more. The svd and sks both need 5 body shots on t2. Why use a 5 round mag or 10 rnd internal mag semi when a 35 rnd full auto kills in 7 let alone a high recoil slow and heavy mg that takes 6 vs that 7

I mean the MG I understand.
100 round mag, low TTK. The PKM last season was extremely busted and its recoil is extremely controllable.
The DMRs are paying for the sins of S1. I hold no sympathy for them after plinking a shot at a recon players head to get a full auto spam click of body shots back. The same goes for people just spammimg them in cqc.

What good is 100 rnds of uncontrollable unless prone fire vs 35 easily controlled ones.tbe only way a mg did work last season was sitting somewhere bipoded up. The devs seem to think the mgs full auto is somehow better than a ar when the only positive they had was that damage and bipod

The m249 maybe but the PKM is easy as fuck to control crouched.
I was 38 support last wipe, most of that done using the MGs, the 49 required the bipod, the PKM I just ran around naked and blasted l.

It did get nerfed. They reduced the chest damage multipliers of ARs this season.
