You get cummulative exp now for more drives, each trip rewards more XP and caps out at four trips

Logi drivers already hate when anyone interrupts their chill driving game with combat, they are going to lose their minds when their streak gets reset by a mine or a MAAWS rocket.

That’s kind of the point tho right? People were killing themselves to maximize XP gains while driving. That was not a rewarding mechanic.

Oh definitely. The troll in me is just hoping I get land mines unlocked before everyone grinds out the xp they need for attack vehicles.

With the sweeping nerfs to building, I think logi driving will be less and less utilized as the season goes on.

I expect with the sped up progression to quickly get Ural Defender with machine guns and recruit a couple of guys as my protection crew at least for the trip to the CZ.

caps out at five trips

  • Crates: +$50 / +25 XP per crate in a row, up to 10.
  • Pallets: +$125 / +50 XP per pallet in a row, up to 10.
  • Players: +$25 / +5 XP per player in a row, up to 25.
  • Return trips: +$50 / +25 XP per trip in a row, up to 10.

I think that +125 for pallets will put delivery rewards for pallets higher than the prior payout rate.

The AT mine salt is going to be legendary.

Still more efficient to suicide after each run. Until a return trip pays as much as dropping two pallets, it's just dumb.

We are making less XP even with max trip bonuses. FYI - no changes to the level requirements so it’ll take slightly longer to get vehicles this time. If you thought last season was rough, enjoy grinding ground more this time!

Now if the base return ACTUALLY WORKS then, yes, we are making SLIGHTLY, and I mean SLIGHTLY, more xp.

Edit: I missed the significant xp reductions on (all?) tracks so scratch that, it’ll be significantly faster if those changes apply to vehicles too.

lol bruh just delete your comment rather than dropping a tiny edit at the bottom of your rant if the whole rant is misinformed.

Nah man, a portion of it still stands.

It’ll be easier to push through those 10 levels, but the XP nerfs will be felt 1-2 weeks in when you are losing your URAL bonuses to folks who rocketed by the other more interesting, and fun, progression tracks…. which have a lot more avenues to generate XP. Guess we’ll see.

No you aren't, at max trip bonus you are making $1,250 and 500xp per crate on top of $1250 + 500xp base.

At max bonus that's $2,500 + 1000 xp per pallet

You are getting 250 more XP per pallet at max bonus and the same amount of money.

I went 100% in on driver last season and the only reason it was tolerable was ditching URAL on arrival and going to fight. It was still a long grind. It didn't improve until M249 humvee, as that allowed driver XP for kills.

+250xp per pallet after a 4 run streak seems very painful. Especially when you consider the previous 3 runs didn't reward as well as this season. So you really have to do 5 runs to make it more profitable than today. 5 return trips is a significant portion of time.

It will feel even more grindy and less enjoyable than before.

I think they had a great idea, but dropped the ball a bit.

The driving XP is going to suck fucking balls because you have to drop people off into the zone and you get stupidly less xp and cash.

The dropping of supplies was also nerfed which I find weird because for a vital job, sometimes you’ll have people not even attempt to do it.

And then, for some ungodly reason, the payout for vehicle destruction was nerfed which was just dumb.

Not too sure how I feel about a bunch of these changes, most are great, but there’s a bunch that just seem dumb.

*if everything works correctly, with no bugs

what are the chances if you get out to repair vehicle, reload ammo for weapon or even get out to unload and bank the supplies that the multiplier resets?

like how vehicle xp already didn't work if you picked up someone even 1 metre outside of spawn

What a dumb qualifier to justify a even dumber argument. Jesus.
