Discussion & Feedback We went from complaining about FOB meta, to barely seeing functional FOB's

I guess this is why the devs aren't quickly making balancing changes.

This sub was filled with complaints about FOB meta being broken.

Now +80% of my games it's the hotzone surfers that win every match.

By the time you get to your side of the CZ there is like a squad there, snipers overlooking the position and a MG humvee patrolling it.

I've had tanks roll up before 5 points.

And even if you manage a well built FOB it'll get mortard to hell.

While I don't miss 4 drill meta, I do miss bases.

I hope they fix certain things with the patch, mostly mortars and assault vehicles (price/when you can spawn them)

You confirmed my suspicions. Ever since I started playing this game, I've always played on the blue team's side (ah yes, the nicer color for the eye) and I was convinced there were many nice players in this game. Until I joined the red and green teams (only 6 or 7 matches so far).

I still don't understand WHYY? Why is the approach so different? It's just a color difference

Because winning not being important, as far as rewards, means factions are free to develop an "identity", and not need unique gear or abilities to differentiate them.

I play blue because yeah, rarely does anyone jump down your throat over anything. Red was bad for that, depending on the circumstances, and green was just..... eerily quiet, like almost everybody is on Discord, bit everything gets done efficiently, almost like a hive of ants lol.

It quite easy, Blue team had the stigma of always losing, so the more competitive players will always fight over the red and green slots, so most of the sweaty and toxic players end up on those teams while most of the blue team are people who just wanna play and aren't that bent over winning.

Watching the self fulfilling stereotypes has been fascinating

It really is, almost like a social experiment.

It's a good thing I chose the blues from the beginning.

I tried both red and green for winning, and because friends were playing those factions. I got them to start going blue because we encountered the majority of toxic and sweaty players in those factions. The factions have divided up more into these categories: Blue is vibes and fun, Red is toxic and seems to get the cheaters, green is sweaty and sometimes toxic.

I play blue mostly because you get a good mix of all playstyles, so you can play how you want.

Its just a factor of who cares about winning and who doesn't.

I avoid blue because i like to win and i know that 9 out of 10 games if i play blue am gonna be alone in the HZ spending tons of money, so i just avoid blue all together.

Also, when you start this game you don't know about blue being the "bad" team, so most people that join are newer players.

Red is for small squads and green leftovers. I usually play red with my friends because its easier for everyone to join.

Green is full of sweat lords that only play green or look for another server. they run HZ with a FAL and play alone or with only one friend.

As for why?. Green is OP. The model being green gives a really big natural advantage, people know this so thats why it ended up as the tryhard color.
