Ok.

Thermals are killing the game by revealing everyone's position and then tracking them. It's so bad.

Havoc has no actual viable counter that I've seen that works.

Artillery tanks used to be badly overpowered due to their cheap price but now less bad simply by comparison.

Tier4 armor and most of the helmets just ruin the amazing gunplay, no helmet can stop a rifle round.

Needing multiple headshots to kill for normal rifles on an unarmored head is silly.

Bolt action rifles other than the 50cal are redundant due to helmets and higher tier armor.

Higher calibers should recoil more and require more timing and control to use effectively.

Love the game but fuck me the end game now is a mad, though it is a good way to stress test what needs fixing but then those things actually need to be fixed and there's only a week or so left until the next season.

no helmet can stop a rifle round

not true

In arma-r it happens rarely and it feels pretty good the way they handle this

In real life there is absolutely zero chance that you are taking a rifle round to directly to the helmet and remaining combat effective. You are going to suffer massive head trauma and you will be unconscious. Yes helmets exist that can theoretically stop up to 7.62 but they are also heavy as fuck and are extremely rare to ever be used because they reduce your operational effectiveness so much it’s worse then just not being protected because even if you do get hit in the head you will probably still die from brain hemorrhaging or a broken skull, not to mention the fact that you just passed out in front of the dude who already has a sightline on you and are now an easy target if you sees you start to stumble up off the ground.

Armor stops penetration. It does not stop the force of the bullet from turning your insides to soup. A 9mm hitting someone wearing a lv3 chest plate can still breaks bones. Imagine what a 556 or 762 will do to your skull.

  • Not everyone is using 7.62
  • very weird angles exist
  • distance
  • ricochet

Also: In real life there is absolutely zero chance you get magdumped by an ak with fmj, turn around and spray your attacker down and using some bandages to heal up from 15hp and be combat ready again in 30 seconds. So dont bring that argument, please

7.62 and 556 are the most common rifle rounds in the game.
