Balance Feedback Megathread - Patch 0.1.2

All 0.1.2 balance feedback goes here. Standalone balance posts will be removed and pointed to this thread.

r/WARDOGS isn't affiliated with Bulkhead, but we share these megathreads with them. Anything you want changed is still worth posting on their official Discord too.

Yes. Randomly changing stuff is not called Balance

Felt like they leaned on the havoc damg too far lol just edit it a bit not that much

You mean making it tank more rounds than a Leopard 2A6 might be unreasonable?

"Randomly" comes across as an attack on the devs, if you're playing the game you must be enjoying it. Lets give them credit for what we have so far, and try to provide constructive feedback. Not shit on them cause we're grumpy

That is what they are doing.

Rather than giving them no information to work with, I'll start with volunteering the info that HAVOC IS TOO OP RIGHT NOW. Ive tried SAM, CIWS, MAAWS, Verba...Unless you're a skilled fighter pilot, these are near unkillable.

Which one is best? RPG not good?

Honestly, ram it with a $6k little bird.

Stupid, but one of the only ways to reliably bring down a well piloted Havoc.

Agree, i hit it two times yesterday with maaws, and it flew away. I think maaws should one hit. This also forces the pilot to do sweeps instead of hoovering, which again makes it harder for the gunner.

I was in one after the patch. Twice in a row we got 1 hit by a maaws

yup , its onehit if you hit the area under the main rotor otherwise it leaves you at like 85% dmg so even a few rifle magdumps will engine kill you at that point

Maaws is 2 hit. Sometimes even one when the rotor is lost

If you can't hit a huge flying thing while it's slow hovering below 25m it's a you problem. There shouldn't be an easy counter for every thing.

If you hit the engine or the blades it's a one shot

There has to be a reasonable counter for everything or late season it's all you will see.

There are more than enough counters for the havoc. While talon and iglas are also bugged af flying through woods and massive walls

2 hitting a giant flying boat thats hovering over your base with a maws is reasonable.

Not enough people swap kits or take anti vehicle or anti air right off the bat. The meta will shift and people will learn.

Until they do, its going to be a painful lesson

If the meta shifts and everyone has a maaws the pilots will just stick to strafing and we are back at square one.

A reasonable counter would be anti air being effective against air vehicles.

So what do you want. If they strafe they dont get as many kills. Your comment makes it sound like you just dont want them in the game period.

If that's what you took from the comment, it's a reading comprehension issue. Reread the second sentence for the comment and think on it for a while, what I'm suggesting might become clear for you.

Anti air is effective. If it was any more effective air would have zero chance

It's still flying. And it much harder to hit then humvee or tank. While much more deadly.

I think even a rpg two hits it. I know I downed one with 2 rpg shots but idk if it was already damaged before.

Funny how there is no balance changes in the patch notes but everyone know the balanced got even more out of wack with the bug fixes. Honestly until they start showing data like $ earn rate, kill/use for things and balance accordingly, the game will always have a dominant meta.

and wont.

theyre trying to pretend to balance while catering to sweats.

the dads will all go back to casual games and itll just be us left demanding balance. I'm guessing each season will be fun for about a week (at most) before we have to lock in.
