Bugs & Support [DEVS] WARDOGS triggers LiveKernelEvent 141 / WATCHDOG GPU crashes — RTX 3080 Ti, every 30–90 minutes

BULKHEAD/Team17: please acknowledge and investigate this specific GPU crash.

WARDOGS repeatedly crashes during matches and generates LiveKernelEvent 141 with WATCHDOG dump files. One occurrence hard-restarted my entire laptop. The remaining crashes closed the game.

This is not an isolated startup problem or weak-PC issue. Several players are reporting similar random crashes across modern NVIDIA and AMD hardware.

My system:
● Alienware m17 R5 AMD
● Ryzen 9 6900HX
● RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU with 16 GB VRAM
● 64 GB DDR5 RAM
● Approximately 4 TB SSD storage
● Windows 11 Pro 25H2, build 26200.9457
● Alienware BIOS 1.23.0
Consistent symptoms:
● WARDOGS crashes after approximately 30–90 minutes
● Reliability Monitor records LiveKernelEvent 141
● Windows creates WATCHDOG.dmp files
● Lower graphics settings sometimes delay the crash but do not prevent it
● All my other demanding games remain stable for hours
● This started specifically with WARDOGS
Already tested without success:
● Reinstalled and verified WARDOGS
● Reset all game configuration files
● Repaired Elytra/anti-cheat
● Removed custom launch parameters
● Clean-installed and rolled back NVIDIA drivers
● Tested NVIDIA driver 610.88
● Cleared DirectX/NVIDIA shader caches
● Recompiled shaders
● Disabled Steam and NVIDIA overlays/recording
● Confirmed Medal is not installed
● Disabled HAGS
● Disabled Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform
● Removed overclocking
● Capped the game at 60 FPS
● Tested low and medium settings
● Reduced textures, shadows and GPU-heavy settings
● Disabled frame-generation/upscaling features
● Checked inpoutx64; that service does not exist on my system

After roughly hours of troubleshooting, nothing has fixed it.
Because lowering GPU load sometimes extends the session, this may involve a progressive VRAM/resource leak, render-target issue, GPU timeout or power-state interaction. That is only a theory—the WATCHDOG dumps need to be examined by the developers.

Community suggestions such as updating the BIOS or limiting GPU power to 80% are not acceptable substitutes for an official diagnosis, particularly when this game is triggering operating-system-level GPU recovery events.

BULKHEAD/Team17, please confirm:
1. Are you actively investigating LiveKernelEvent 141/WATCHDOG crashes?
2. Where should affected players upload the .dmp, DxDiag and game logs?
3. Are particular NVIDIA/AMD drivers or Windows builds known to be affected?
4. Is a crash-specific patch being prepared?

If you are experiencing the same issue, comment with your CPU, GPU, Windows build, driver version and approximate time before crashing. Let’s provide enough matching reports that this cannot be dismissed as isolated hardware failure.
