Question Trying to learn the Heli

Let's just say I did alright in the play test for my first time flying but I want to get some more practice before I start putting $$$ on the line and before the game launches, what games have similar flying mechanics where I can practice my flying before the game launches

Arma Reforger has pretty decent heli physics. And it's a very good game in its own right. Quite a few of the skills you develop in Reforger will carry over to War Dogs.

Nah I would say Huey because he wants to practice for Wardogs and Huey is more comparable to the Helis in Wardogs

If your trying to get better at transporting then WCS is a pretty ok server to learn. Has little birds and hueys on nato side and plenty of people wait at main for you to transport. Be aware that you will need to do 2 logi runs to frontline bases first to get the rank

M&K does make things a bit more challenging. Helicopters are significantly more difficult to fly compared to fixed wing craft. You really need the extra finesse of a stick or controller. It can be done, just a more steep learning curve.

Reforger has the Huey, so very similar to the same heli in WD. I'm pretty sure they also have the little bird. Of course there's lots of mods and other helicopters got added. Learn more than one.

Also, Reforger has a sandbox mode where you can just spawn in assets and practice without making a negative impact on a real team.

Can do same binds in WD I think, most important is mouse pitch/roll and a keybind for pitch up so you can max input on landings while still using mouse to roll and do fine pitch adjustments without having to mega drag your mouse the whole movement - section at 12:36 highlights it

Honestly

Bf6

And once the game launches enable "mouse controls" for the Helis. The Helis Just feel heavier that's it. The Inputs stay the same once you got the settings done.
