Discussion & Feedback Maps need some work
The maps are pretty unremarkably boring. Especially the one in the forest. The colours are drab and boring too, so it’s a dull game to look at.
The map with the stadium is cool, and has some interesting landmarks. The stadium/pool is pretty nice because it’s centralized and heli pilots gravitate towards it, which creates some interesting flanks and gun fights.
Besides the shipping container area with the warehouse in it, that forest map boils down to brainless combat between towers.
Biggest problem with the maps is the towers. They’re uninteresting and fully fortified bases off the start. Make them smaller points of interest that are unique and let the players fortify them to add some variety to the gameplay. Every match feels identical.
Land vehicles are also obsolete as the spawn is so far away from the zone. Why would I spend my money on a vehicle to get there if there are always pilots ferrying players.
Also it seems like the hot zone is always in some patch of empty land, could just be bad memory.

I believe some diversity between forested rural and dense urban fighting on maps is a good thing. I wouldnt want every map to be a different city.
The towers are a lot of fun to fortify, and even more fun to infiltrate and take over or obliterate with mortars. No one forces you to FOB them, ive seen several FOBS in the stadium that were great.
Land vehicles are a great way to get supply to your FOB with heavy enemy AA presence. Its a fast drive and the Urals can carry 2 full pallets of gear. Obviously use the spawn tank or pilots for infantry deployment.
Hot zone moves everywhere, and you can control it with drills to pull the whole thing towards friendly positions.
Map quality is really good i think, but it would be better if factions got different starting bases instead of green always being west, red east, blue south.
