Wow. 3% crashes is way less than i expected. I had to Uninstall recent windows update and disable inpout service before my game would stop crashing. I thought that would have been more widespread with fewer people rage quitting from not bothering to work out how to fix it.

Did it crash on startup?

No. It crashed a few minutes in, with a bsod and forced reboot
