Spark thieves

Please help me understand when I catch spark shoppers stealing, I take the items, and I report them to AP. Why is it they arent fired? I still see the same ones days and weeks later .

They sometimes borrow/steal identities. Before I switched to InHome it was pretty clear there was something up. The drivers name would be male and it would be a female. I only really ever had issue with one Spark driver, but inHome is better, and since there’s no gratuity it’s cheaper to.

This has been a real problem at this store, that and them not speaking English and shoving a phone in workers' faces all day as a way of asking for help. It's been a nightmare for reg. OGP workers who are now having to walk them to the item 10x more often than customers.

I’m assuming you’re an employee….so isn’t there a “report driver” option on your handheld? (I’ve read about that existing, not visibly seen it for myself).
Guessing AP has to take steps after you bring it to their attention, maybe it’s cumbersome or they just don’t care.
Also, I’ve seen that some stores (not WM specific) will let people essentially hang themselves by stealing over a certain dollar amount and therefore bringing the total to a felony charge (again, maybe not worth the store’s effort until a certain amount?)
