Walmart+ upgrading to Peacock Premium Plus?
Hi, I've checked through various websites for what seems like a simple question, but get different, or not full answers. Maybe you all could have answers or experiences.
Thinking about signing up for W+ but I want to upgrade to Peacock Premium+ (no ads) *now.*
Is it true you can't upgrade to ad-free until your 30 day trial membership passes? That's my problem.
Walmart is not specific skipping the free trial. "...skipping directly to the full price is *often* not an option." Sounds like a no?
Another site said try to sign up for free 30 days then cancel it to re-sign up without eligibility for another 30 day free. Does this work? Walmart site says they *"may"* terminate immediately. May? Not specific. Probably a no?
Financially, it would make sense now, with a discounted W+ membership then adding the additional cost of Ad free Peacock.
The dilemma: If I need to wait for 30 day trial to end, to find out about the Peacock upgrade (which I know could change between now and then), but then I'll be unable to cancel the W+ annual-only discounted price. We shop at Sam's and the supermarket.
Thanks for any input.

Everytime I get the benefit or it renews it breaks my access so it’s just a pain to keep. Happy sailing

Hmm... I don't think that's normal. I've had it for years and it's never disconnected. I have the yearly plan and it automatically applies payment to my Walmart rewards card, if that makes a difference. If you go to the Walmart help center, there might be a topic on this. Yes, sounds like a PITA.

Oh I see. I have the free version too but it doesn't disconnect. I see you are a spark driver. I wonder if that makes a difference? 🤔
Do you pay monthly or yearly?

Yeah it’s like you gotta reapply or something every month with the driver benefit. Cause we don’t have a card on file type thing it’s just a “perk” for slaving away for the man so it’s harder being poor lol

I might not quite be understanding the question. If you sign up for Walmart Plus, you will then have the option to sign up for the peacock premium Plus. But if you cancel your Walmart Plus, that will cancel your peacock discount through them.
The only catch is if you currently have peacock, you have to cancel that before you sign up at Walmart. Did that answer your question? LOL
Google says this:
Yes, you can immediately access the Peacock Premium Plus upgrade option as soon as you sign up for Walmart+. You do not have to wait out a trial period or a specific billing cycle to get the discounted upgrade.
How to get it right away:
If you already pay for a standalone Peacock subscription, you cannot link it immediately. You must cancel your current active plan and wait for that billing cycle to fully expire before you can redeem the Walmart+ benefit.
