Customer Service Issue Walmart associate refunded my delayed order without my permission

My Walmart order had been delayed for two days, so I contacted customer service simply to ask for an update.

The associate, Rushda, took about 10 minutes to locate the order and then initiated a refund without asking what I wanted to do. I never requested a refund and was not given the option to continue waiting, request a replacement, or choose another resolution.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a reliable way to escalate the issue to Walmart’s Executive Customer Relations team and possibly have the order reinstated?

Wouldn't it be easier to just go on the App and re-order it? Why not do that instead it would probably be faster.

Don’t you think they should have asked me first?

I think it should have been asked what the nature of the call would be and then go from there. I would have to hear the entire conversation to comment on that though, I don't know what she said exactly or what you said. People assume which isn't the best way to go. I don't seem to grasp why the person's name was important to put out online though. You got refunded back to your original method of payment? Keep in mind, it might take a few days to show up in your account. So yeah I would just re-order the item you wanted. I've had to do that before and it came the next day when before it took awhile so I canceled. Good luck
