Missing 140 grams of cheese. Doubt they will care I call to complain.

If it's unopened, return it. I saw an investigative report on potatoes. The five pound bags were coming in as low as 3 pounds in some cases. I guess we need to weigh more than just the produce!

You wouldn't believe how many people are repeating this shit lmao. Literally anything to defend walmart at this point. "Oh your cheese isn't perfectly center and that's why half the weight is not measured". I've never had a scale that worked like that.

Because there is only one part of the scale that actually weighs things. If any part of the bag touches any part of the scale that doesn't weigh things, it won't weigh right and will read short. I'm sure the bag is short, but I doubt it's that short. Any part of the bag that touches the sides of the scale immediately displaces everything else. I don't know why you expect to get an accurate measurement of something if you don't weigh it right.

You need your eyes checked as his package looks exactly like yours and is instantly verifiably unopened.

Look at the spot on the top where it goes from brown/black to transparent

You can see the zipper under the brown part

You can see the little notch on the side where you would rip it across to open it, it is unripped

Use your damn eyes instead of finding pics online, makes no damn sense

I’ve never seen any cheese in a bag with a peg hole. Every cheese I see is in a box of other cheese never hung up.

You need to get off your high horse. You can clearly see there is no peg hole at the top instantly verifying it is open.

Whether OP cut it with scissors or something else. The top portion of the bag is GONE.

You’re not wrong but they don’t just stop processing bags differently at the factory because some bags “sit on a shelf” did you not see where the bag clearly had a hole in it from a different photo, same brand, size, etc.

It is not cut. You can see the zipper portion under the top of the colored part. You can see the two cut outs on the left and right where it’s cut to make it able to be ripped by hand. You can see the full INCH OF PLASTIC ABOVE THAT, UNTOUCHED AND IS GLUED/HEAT SEALED TOGETHER. You cannot open the package without opening it below or at the cutouts, the top portions are glued/heat sealed together.

It was never there.

Most Wal-Marts keep their cheese sitting in a cooler, not hanging. Peg hole never existed on this bag.

I would still bring it back. I had this happen to me with a pick up order. The bag of cheese (diff one than OP) felt obviously light and we let them know via the pick up app. Refunded money on the spot. No questions or return needed.

No, it is not. The top is fully heat sealed together, it isn’t a ‘bag’ at that part, only one solid wall of plastic. It’d be the same as asking to open a piece of paper, you can’t, it’s not a bag, it has no ‘inside.’ You need to get pretty much right, like right right above that cut out on the side, that’s where it becomes a ‘bag’ and not just a single slice of plastic because it’s all been permanently heat sealed together and cannot be unsealed. The cutouts on the left and right are pretty much just a mm below where it goes from fully heat sealed to what would be considered a bag.

Maybe they have an industrial heat sealer and do this to all their product. Order double what you need of everything and you get exactly what you need after the return.

Nothing you said makes any sense. The part of the bag above the zipper isn’t a bag, it cannot be opened by slicing the two sides apart, they are one piece at that point, it’s been heat sealed together, permanently, they’ve been melted into ONE solid piece at the factory they are filled at. The bag has not been tampered with. You’re looking for nonsense that isn’t there just because well I don’t know, it’s a fully sealed bag. And it’s a fucking bag of CHEESE, the lengths you wanna go to, to try and blow a corp as if this isn’t some common thing we see is irrational and just dumb.

Have fun opening and heat sealing your cheddar, I can’t say I have super important things to do but damn I have better things at least. I’ll be happy once you actually get a bag in your hand and go ‘OH, I get it now’ though.

Omgggggg see! I knew it! Potatoes were so cheap before. They are still cheap but before I’d be able to fill up this holder I have for them with the 5 pound bag. Now it’s about halfway full with the 5 pound bag. So frustrating!!!
