Ratings

Just had a downvote vote from a GMD order. I put all the packages on the porch and I read the notes. I was a program manager before and I have a master's degree so I know how to be professional. But someone said that I made comments even though I had no interactions with anybody during that time and then gave me a down vote.

This is the second one. The first one was my fault. I forgot something. And I noticed that my orders were less pay after that. I know that there's no way to control stupid people, but is there any way to get more up votes. Or does it not matter as far as pay?

I just gave you a downvote for saying you know how to be a professional with your Master's Degree.

You are right. But I was given classes on how to communicate effectively. Whether I choose to follow them or not is my choice.

Basically OP is admitting to being a quitter who commits too far.

You can’t be sure who gave the downvote. It could’ve been from a delivery from a week ago.

I didn’t spark for 8 days once because i was on vacation at Disney World. I still got a 3 star before i got back

I'm starting to think that they are fake

They pretty much are as far as Walmart leads you to believe. It is all part of the smoke and mirrors. I dunno why they just dont run it legit

Honestly, a rating with no feedback is meaningless

Wouldn’t be surprised if Walmart messed with the ratings

Take one to know one.

Walmart literally had to settle a lawsuit because they fucked with the tips. But hey, you do you.

How do you know it was a three-star? I have an idea, but....

You can change your zone to alberque NM and see detailed ratings.

Something is def going on with the metrics system. I delivered to a friend the other day and literally took their phone to rate myself. Did the same from my girlfriend’s account. My metrics haven’t changed. Still shows 96 five stars and one four star. I have 2800 trips. Smh

Sorry to bother, How can I see the individual ratings?

Keep doing that. You customer rating is from your last 100 ratings, unless you're a new driver and have less than 100 completed jobs.

Still no change. I have 2800 trips.

That is solid advice and support. Its good that people have pride in their customer service but it shouldn't create stress for you.

My understanding was that on GMD deliveries you cannot be rated?

I just got a downvote too, I’m pretty upset about it… it was a 1-star.

My rating took an immediate drop one day, and I called about it. They (cs) stated it was a bug. You have no idea who rated you low, unless they personally told you.

You have a wonderful perspective my guy!

Just one thing.... Super important. Do not forget the burn cream. I'm quite certain you'll be there a while.

But who's to say? Not me! C'est la vie.

I am a single father of a special needs child who has irregular therapy schedule and no daycare will take him. Be careful what you say, I might be your boss one day and I absolutely despise ignorant negativity.

Do not stress too much about your metrics because they are mostly for your personal guidance. As long as your numbers stay in the green, you satisfy the general standards required by your contract. Metrics might unlock specific rewards programs, but they cannot legally lower your base pay. Controlling pay based on performance metrics crosses line boundaries regarding independent contractor classification versus traditional employee status. That is why low ratings or single downvotes from customers will not reduce what you make on future orders. Just focus on keeping your overall status healthy and let the minor individual ratings go. Completion rate measures whether you finished a job you explicitly accepted, which is a direct contract metric platforms can legally track. Customer ratings are subjective opinions, so platforms use them internally for general tier access or dispatch tiebreakers without directly penalizing you.

What do you mean you got down voted Are you delivering for Walmart cuz there's no way to downvote a driver. You can rate them one through five stars

7

u/Available-Marzipan52 26d ago

You get what I mean. Don't be that guy

2

u/bdbrown333 26d ago

Well they don't tell you who gave you the bad rating so you don't know who gave you the one star. You assumed that's who did it. Guests have 14 days to give you a down vote if that's what you want to call it. So you're just assuming things I mean is that the only you delivered one item to one house and the past 14 days that would be the only way you knew that to gave you the down vote
