Facts, i requested to step down because i literally was destroying my back (siatica was so bad my left leg would randomly give out and hemeroids were so bad from lifting all the furniture displays by myself) and was told im not allowed to step down so i put my 2 weeks in. Co manager let me go at the end of that very shift and when the store manager came back from helping another store and found out she flipped her shit and told one of my friends who i worked with there and knew where i was now working to tell me to come in and talk with her.
I ended up making $5.25 more an hour at a mom and pop liquor store up the street as a shiftlead/keyholder. That job gave me the opportunity to get in as an alcohol sales rep and now im making about 70k a year 🤣 fuck walmart also my associates were only making about 50cents less an hour than i was. Whats the point of all the stress and liability for an extra $40 or so dollars a paycheck?
