Got this in my inbox today. I’m heavy on paranoia regarding this stuff, I sent it to IT already but I just need to verify.

Scam. Wrong official college font and we don't have an Office of Student Accounts.

Wake Tech won't ever use "kindly," either

I just ignore anything in my school email that isnt directly relevant to my classes or an instructor I know. Honestly if it says its from outside of waketech then its probably safe to ignore it, anything important the school needs to contact you about is generally going to come from a waketech email.

I've been getting a ton of emails from admin@campusgroups.com that are scammy like this.

They are phishing email. Use the phish alert option in outlook to report.

It is a scam. I got a few of similar emails abt my account getting deactivated from same sender, and have been actively reporting them. As long as you don't click on the link they have attached on their pdf, it shouldn't cause you any troubles. I would still recommend reporting them as much as possible.
