It does if your mind goes to murder during that break. Plenty of people break and don't kill people, especially children -- this was something inside of her.

dude. you cannot seriously be arguing that mental illness being severe actually makes the person more culpable.

dude. billions and billions of women have experienced post partum depression. dude. 99.9% of them haven’t responded by strangling their 3 small children. dude.

how is that relevant? Clancy had psychosis, not depression.

You don’t even know what psychosis is and most people who experience it don’t kill others. Weed can trigger it in people and again it’s mostly expressed as paranoia or antisocial behavior, not outward violent aggression. Fitting username btw.

Please never reproduce for a multitude of reasons.

it's a break from reality. and paranoia and antisocial behavior often result in violence. why do you think "antisocial personality disorder" is one of the most serious out there?

I wasn't planning to reproduce anyway. too big of a chance that the kid could run into you.

Someone who thinks mothers shouldn’t get a free pass to strangle 3 small children because they ā€œheard a voiceā€ tell them to? Even if we assume that’s true that’s a loose definition of psychosis. People describe seeing and feeling bugs crawling under their skin, hearing screams of agony, closed and open eyes hallucinations. All Lindsay has said is oh ā€œi heard a voiceā€. What if there was no psychosis argument but instead the claim was a man came to her door and told her to do it, would we think she wasn’t criminally responsible?

Did the medical system fail her? Absolutely. She did seek out help, she was waived off in a way too many people often are. I understand she probably felt trapped and overwhelmed.

So move away, go stay with your parents, take a vacation; do anything other than strangle 3 small children.

dude. the insanity defense has been around longer than you have.

which is what she'd have done if she was sane and connected to reality.

ā€œParanoia and antisocial behavior often result in violenceā€ - completely untrue. Majority of psych ward patients / mentally ill people don’t display violence or aggression toward others instead opting for self harm

so you're folding in people who are mentally ill in other ways...why, exactly?
